Cathy's POV:
I was walking through the garden alone and I saw a bee. 'Hugh is here' I thought to myself, "Hugh?" I called out, I saw more of these and then you popped out behind a tree "Oh hi" I said to him if he smiled and said hi back. "What were you doing?" I asked , he shrugged "Oh I was just taking a walk." he said stuttering a little bit, I nodded. Hugh was my best friend here, after all my peculiarly was insects so were pretty much the same and we had a lot more in common than the other kids here. I did talk to Emma more than not but Hugh was my best friend.
"Can I tell you a secret?" He asked, looking down a little bit
"Sure." I said, stepping closer to him
"Well I kind of like this girl but I think she likes Horace and it kind of miffed(a/n: upset.) me and I don't know how to ask her to know for sure I think that she'll find me weird if I did ask her that." He explained, looking at me, smiling a bit.
"Well I think you should just ask her or tell her how you feel is this about Fiona?" I asked him, he bites his lip shaking his head,
"No." Hugh shyly said,
"You should tell her, here practice on me if you want." I say, smiling at him. He perked up at that,
"Yeah, that's a great idea." He said smiling, "Here goes, okay Cathy I've had a crush on you for the longest time, probably since you got here, and if you don't feel the same then I completely understand." Hugh says and then smiled his cute smile,
"Well I like you too, Hugh." I say, then giggling because he rhymed, I actually did like Hugh but he obviously liked some one else, so I just smiled a long with him. "Now go on and tell her that." I say, giving him a small smile, he looked down at me shyly,
"I just did." He said, I smiled
"Oh." I say widening my eyes, Hugh then got a defeating look on his face,
"So I get that you don't like me." He says, sadly,
"Of course I like you." I say, and hug him, he hugs back. Then he pulls away and I do also,
"I'm glad you do, do you want to be my girlfriend?" He asked, I nodded.
"Yes, I would love too." I say, he grabbed my hand and we walked back to the house.
