It's midnight and completely pitch black out on the empty streets of Boston. The street lamps illuminate the sidewalk so you can see what's in front of you. The streets are mostly empty except for an occasional car that goes by.

All you can hear is bounding in your ears from running so fast. You just barely got away from them, but you know they'll be in hot persute.

Yeah so apparently stealing from a mob boss wasn't the best move, but he was rich and you were poor and desperate. You hoped maybe he wouldn't notice if some of his money went missing. He did.

So here you are, running for your life with no place to go and no one to help you. You're mom and dad died when you were little, leaving you to fend for yourself, so it wasn't suprising you fell to life of crime. Everyone's gotta survive somehow, it's just that sometimes people aren't given much choice as to the how.

You keep running though, to paniced to start thinking about how you're going to get yourself out of this one. Your legs start to burn with effort but you make them move faster anyway, beyond out of breath and feeling about ready to pass out.

As you make twists and turns into allies and down different streets you start to loose hope as you know you're being to loud to throw them off. Between the heavy breathing and the pounding footsteps and the clanging of the little chain you have around one of your belt loops. You make a mental note to throw the damn thing away if you ever get out of this.

Just when you think you are about to dubble over and die, you turn a corner and see two men up ahead in the distance.

Yeah okay they were in a dark ally at night looking awfully sinister, but what options did you have?

None. You had none.

"Hey!" You scream, dashing toward them, legs numb from overuse and vision getting dark from lack of oxygen. They whip around to look at you as you get close to them. You throw your arms around the shoulders of one of them, breathing heavily and feeling light headed.

"Help! You gotta help me, please! I'm begging you! I'll do anything, please hide me! Please! They're gonna kill me! Please help!" You burst out desperately with you last bit of breath.

The one you had thrown yourself on wrapped his hands around your waist to support you so you didn't fall. "Calm down, Lass. Follow us, we'll help you." Was all you heard before you lost consciousness.

Murphy, quickly, lifted your unconscious body into his arms and took off after his brother gestured for him to follow. They were just coming home and their apartment wasn't far away.

They heard perusing footsteps and shouts coming form not to far away, so they made hast. Slipping into their apartment building, they watched from the window as the men ran by.

"Wha the hell was that?!" Murphy exclaimed, turning to his brother.  "I don't know but she seemed real desperate. Com'on, let's get upstairs." Connor replied.

They went to the elivater that took them up to their floor. Murphy clutched you protectively close and Connor put a hand on your forhead to check for a fever. Nothing. Good.

Once the elivater stopped they got out and Murphy gently laid you down on his bed. "Look through 'er pockets." Connor instructed. Murphy did so and gasped when he pulled out ten thousand dollars in cash from your front pocket in your jeans.

"This...this might have something ta do with why she was being chased." Murphy said, tossing the money to Connor. "Holy fuck man!" Connor exclaimed upon checking how much it was.
