Introduction

                 

A:N First of all I would like to thank you personally for taking an interest in my book. The first chapter won't be released until December 1st because I am currently tied up in another fanfiction I'm writing called Silva. It is also a Harry one and don't worry I'm not getting on my knees and begging you to *please read it!!!* so don't worry ;) this isn't necessarily a chapter but more of a disclosure with the introduction to the book (a prologue if you will)  at the end of all of the boring information that I have to mention before I actually start to write. Let's get to it then.

WARNING:   Please keep in mind that this book will be extremely mature. By that I mean there will be scenes that will quite possibly feature things such as Violence, self harm, animal cruelty, sexual assault, foul language, crude humor, drugs, supernatural beings/ entities, and tragedies. I personally believe it's ridiculous that there is a need for me to remind you of this but some people just love to cause scenes so I will tell you right now that though I may write about horrible and unspeakable things, that does not in any way reflect my personal beliefs, my morals, or the things that I do. Please don't comment on my story, wall, etc. telling me that I am sadistic or a bad person for writing about these terrible (and very real) things. If you are unable to handle reading about these things please do not try.

[Sidebar: When I said very real things I was not referring to supernatural beings and entities. I will not reveal my opinion when it comes to things like that because it's a controversial topic and I'm trying to avoid negative energy]

If I do decide to write about a fatal disease, drugs, violence, or Other things along those lines I make sure that I do my research so that I can stick with realistic events as much as possible. This book will feature human trafficking and while not all of my facts will be correct or spot on to how it is in real life I will always do my best to fact check.

I came up with this plot completely on my own. I am fully aware that there are millions of fan-fictions so I will not be surprised in the slightest if my story happens to be similar to one you have read. If I'm being quite honest all of the fan-fics I read have a similar plot line because I like a certain type of thing. I am totally fine with you telling me it's similar and that you enjoy my writing however I am not okay with you accusing me of stealing someone else's idea. All of the characters in the story are from my own mind and I do own them. Of course not Harry styles but you know what I mean.

If you have any requests, concerns, questions, or feedback you are welcome to P.M me or post on my profile wall. I welcome constructive criticism and feedback but if you post hate and rude comments I will report and block you because Wattpad is a place where writers and readers come to feel accepted and do what they love so when cyber bullying and hate happens it ruins the purpose of this app which really upsets me. Don't ruin this for those who want to enjoy it. For some people this app is their only escape from real life and they need it. Don't steal someone else's joy because you are in a sour mood.

Last but not least I have decided to add a slightly more detailed summary. In the summary slot before entering the book I included a small phrase and a preview of what is to come regarding the book. I know some people may have been expecting/ wanting a flash back or prologue type thing but I truly feel that explaining everything before the story starts will really hinder your experience as a reader. The plot will flow much better if we ease into everything and though you may not like it at the end of the day it's my decision and this is what I believe is best.

It's simply me saying that if I get more reads than I'm expecting then I won't make you guys wait. Part of the reason the first chapter is getting released on December first is I want to get it out there for people to see and plan it in full before I jump into it. I have a big issue with starting a story and quitting after the ninth chapter it's like the cursed number that gives me eternal writers block so I want to make sure I don't get that this time.

[ We stopped going in the woods that summer.]

When a young girl's innocent excursion turns into a brutal murder case her life, along with the day to day flow of the town she resides in turns completely upside down. After all, 15 is a very young age to witness such a horrid thing. 

Two years later and the events of that summer night still seem to follow Mallory and the other living members of her group everywhere they go. Murders become more frequent and the police choose to give up the search, deeming anyone who chooses to enter the woods suicidal. 

With the number of officers drastically lower due to 'the creature in the forest' the townspeople agree to forget about the past and instead focus on their future- accept for Mallory.

Coming face to face with a killer puts her in a position she never could have imagined as she is forced to choose between life and humility.

All she knows is she has to escape.
