"OH MY GOD. I CAN'T BELIEVE I LET YOU GUYS TALK ME INTO THIS!!" Exclaimed a heavily frustrated Ammana.
"Aray Ammana stop stressing about it. You'll just ruin all your make up from the sweat. And stop fidgeting around. Drive nhi kar parahi mein" scolded a visibly annoyed Minaal.
"Gaari khud sahi se chalanay aati nhi hai toh mujhay bol rahi hai. Chor bhi do ab." Ammana snapped back.
"Aik toh what was I thinkingg?!?! What were YOU guys thinking!! I can't go on a date. Let alone a blind date. Oh God what have i done! I can't. ."
"Yar Ammana dramay band karo. You said yes. Everything is set up now" Minaal cut her off while the other girls watched the drama unfold in front of them from the backseat of Minaal's car.
They had all arrived at Ammana's place on Minaal's insistence after Ammana had flat out refused to go to the date.
'I'm not letting her change her mind. Aisa nhi hota. She agreed to it. Ab kuch nhi ho sakta. Ussay jaana paray ga.' A hyper Minaal had gone on a rant. The other girls had only agreed to accompany her so she couldn't throw a tantrum or direct her anger towards them.
Now after 3 hours, here they sat, in the backseat of the car, listening to Ammana whine about the whole succeeding experience she was about to go through. An experience which excited and frightened all six of them in equal measure. But that was something they couldn't tell Ammana, she was already a flight risk.
"Yar do you think Ammana's right? This doesn't feel right." Whispered a concerned Haya.
"Yar Haya chup raho. Ussnay sunliya na toh aur bolnay lagay gi" Namal shushed her up.
"Beta sab awaaz aarahi hai mujhay. Dkhlo. Even Haya thinks this isn't a good idea."
"Aray Ammana issay choro. This is gonna be so much funnn. Think of the free food." Mahira quipped in.
"Haan yar Ammana. Imagine, you could finally claim you've been on a date" Rafia tried to put a positive spin on the whole ordeal. But Ammana wasn't having any of it. Her anxiety levels were at an all time high. She couldn't think of a single event that could make this worse than it already was.
"Yaar Ammana dekho, we're almost there. Wo banda puhanch bhi gaya hoga ab tak. You can't cancel on him now" Minaal tried to make Ammana see logic
"Atleast ye toh batao ke banda kon hai?" Ammana asked with the most distressed look she could muster.
The girls caught each other's eyes and smirked.
"I guess hum bata saktay hain...." Namal began with a grin.
"Haan waisay. Ab toh puhanch gaye. Batado yar Minaal."
"You're gonna love him Ammana."
"Okay so there's no harm in telling you now. You're going on a blind date with Zarrar." Minaal told Ammana and marveled at the expressions that crossed her face.
Ammana was left dumbstruck. That was quickly replaced by anger.
"ARE YOU KIDDING ME!! TUM SAB KA DIMAAG TOH KHARAB NHI HOGAYA HAI" Ammana thundered as all of them howled out with laughter.
"Mein nhi jarahai. I am not leaving this car. Wapis chalo foran" she crossed her arms as she said with a finality that betrayed even her.
"Yar Ammana insaan bano. Zarrar is already here. You're just gonna stand him up. Are you that much of a bitch?" Minaal taunted Ammana. Knowing exactly which buttons to push.
