Something in the Woods

AFRAID YET?

One morning I saw some of my friends talking about some woods. I went over and ask them "Hey what are you guys talking about?" One of my friends turn to see me and she said "We are talking about the Slender woods, you wanna come?" I was always up for an adventure, but something told me that it wasn't a good idea to go. I ignore that feeling and I said "Yeah I'm always up for an adventure, I never been in the slender woods I really want to explore to see what is like, but, I have a feeling we might never come back." I saw her shiver when I said that, then the guy that was standing next to her said "You scared?" She looked at him and said "No." He just look at her, because he saw her shiver. That night I got ready to face the unseen I grabbed both of my sharpest knives and a flashlight. I said to myself "You can do this, even though you know you will never come back. It is time you face the Slender woods." As I said that I got ready and bolted out the door both my parents are dead, but friends don't know that. they think my parents are still alive. I want to know who or what killed my parents. It was time that I kill whatever killed my parents. I grabbed extra knives just in case I lose one of my pocket knives. I have been training myself to fight with knives so I can fight who or what. "Hey fighter." I heard Max shout he is the leader of our pack. He thinks he is, but I'm the leader my friends call me fighter, because they saw me training myself to fight, but they don't know the reason. 

"Hey" I called we walked to the slender woods which was not far from my house. When we got there there was a gate around the woods and there was a sign that said in bold letters and all in caps " NO TRESPASSING, IF YOU DO YOU WILL DIE!!!!" We looked at each other when my friends turn back I wasn't there I was already on the other side of the gate. Max looked at me like I was crazy. I said "Are you guys chickens or what?" Max looked at the others and they all shrugged their shoulders and they crossed over the gate once they were all over the gate and in the Slender woods Max said to me " Hey fighter, did you see the sign?" I said "Nope." As soon as I said that he shivered. We kept walking and I had my flashlight in one hand and a pocket knife in the other hand. I was prepared all my friends were behind me. I heard something moving I quickly whipped around and saw the rake I said "When I say run, run. Okay?" Everybody looked confused. Then I said "Look behind you." They all look behind them and saw the rake. Then I said "RUN!" We all took off running like hell. The rake was gaining on us, I told everybody "Get in front of me now. That is an order!!!!" Max looked at me like I was crazy, they all did as I told them. They know I have the skills to fight, but what they didn't know that I might not live.  I said "Keep on running don't look back and don't worry about me." Max said "Fighter have you lost your mind?!?!?!" I just look at him with a smile and he understood what I was doing. I was saving them and risking my life for them. Max was the only who knew both of my parents are dead he is my childhood friend. Me and Max are really close he knows when I'm determine to do something I won't back down. The slender woods are endless. 

You think there is a way out of these woods think again. You might think you can get out of the Slender woods? If I were you  might want to think again. While I stand my ground my friends keeps on running without stopping trying to find a way out of these woods, but there is no end. How can anybody get out alive? I heard somebody telling a story about these woods. I always wonder how he got out alive and be able to tell his story. The guy that manage to get out of these woods alive was my great grandfather he told everyone about these woods even me when I was young. I still remember his story and he also told me to never go in these woods and here I am in these woods. "Dear great grandfather please forgive for being in these woods when you told me not to come into these woods that I am in." I thought to myself as I continue to watch out for the rake and while they are still running. Who knows if I am coming out of this fight alive with some battle scars or will I die on this battlefield? I try to calm down knowing my friends will get out alive hopefully just like my great grandfather. "Please guys get out of these woods alive." In pray in my head while the rake was studying me to see if I was worth the fight or I wasn't worth the fight but, he decided that I was. He got ready to attack me. The rake was almost 20 times my size but, I don't care I have fought guys that were 30 to 80 times my size. If I can handle those guys I can handle the rake without any regret. I won't give up so easily to somebody that is 20 time my size.
