"She's Beautiful, Mary!" My voice rose at the sight of the beauty of the wild Mustang horse with a blue roan coat that gleamed in the sun.
"Oh my God!" Mary screeched throwing her skinny hands over her wide opened mouth.
"What, what Mary whats happening!?" I said twisting my head in every direction trying to follow my sisters gaze, but then I saw it, the beautiful mare along with her peaceful grazing herd were disturbed by the thud of horse hooves and on top of the tame horses were men, they had thick ropes twisted around their rough hands.
"What are they doing!?" I screamed with tears flooding my eyes, I jumped the wooden fence that housed the wild horses.
The big men on horse back threw their long ropes into the air and caught the Mustangs around their supple necks, their shrieks drummed in my head I could feel the blood pounding in my ears, I could feel my breath, stolen from inside me, but I kept running trying to save the herd, by the time I got to the horrific scene about five of the Mustangs where taken, stolen, including the beautiful mare, the one that had stolen my heart.
"Mary? Mary...Their gone no their gone!" I stifled a scream I tried to hold it back but they were gone.
