To the soft pitter patter

Listen to the rain
Such a calming sound
Relax yourself
Pay close attention to its lull
Just settle down
And feel it's pull
Rain is wet and cold
And to many I causes strife
But look past the bad and notice the good
Rain also brings life
It blankets the ground
And controls the trees
It nurses the rivers
And displeases the seas
