Karis

**6 months later**

I waddled to Stone's office where he and Wyatt were in a meeting. All eyes were on me as I entered the room.

"Luna," the men stood and bowed their heads.

"Nice to see you guys!" I greeted them and turned to my mate. "Baby, can you make sure Wyatt eats and is down for a nap by 2:30? I'm going to sleep for a while."

"Of course, Babe, get some rest," he stood to press his lips to mine.

"Dada! No, my mama!" Wyatt giggled and smacked Stone's cheeks. I pulled away and peppered my son's face with kisses. "Wuvie you, Mommy!" he grinned.

"I love you, my darling. And pups," Stone rubbed my belly, receiving sharp kicks in response.

"Oh, they were actually calm for a minute, Stone," I groaned, wobbling out to our bedroom. I struggled out of my clothes and slipped on one of my mate's shirts and laid down.

*3 hours later*

A sharp pain woke me up and I curled up into myself, whimpering. Just as suddenly as it started, it ended and I sighed in relief. I got up and waddled down the hall to check on Wyatt. I opened the door to see my son curled up into my sleeping mate's side. I sighed contentedly as I leaned against the door frame. I squealed quietly as pain spread across my belly. Stone opened his eyes and looked at me. "Baby, what's wrong?" he crawled over Wyatt and placed a steadying hand on my waist.

"I'm not sure," I hissed as the pain intensified. I grabbed his arm and squeezed as I felt an unfamiliar pressure in my hips. We heard a pop and I felt fluids run down my legs. "I take it back, they're coming!" I whimpered.

"Let's get you to the pack doctor, Babe," Stone kissed my forehead and let me lean on him as I walked. We made it to the bottom of the stairs when I felt something lower in my belly and another wave of pain in my lower region.

"No, no, Stone! I can't! They're here! I can't wait!" I panted as I dug my nails into his arm. He groaned and picked me up.

"Just breathe, Baby. We'll stay right here," he said as he lowered me onto the couch.

"Karis! Are you alright?" Ella ran in with Rocky behind her.

"She's in labor. I've already called Doc," Stone rubbed his thumb across my cheek soothingly.

"Let's get you comfortable," she said. "Rocky, get towels and check on Wyatt on your way down. Alpha-"

"Stone."

"Stone, help me get her on all fours," Ella guided me into the proper position. "We'll just wait here until you need to push."

"My back feels better for right now," I sighed as Stone rubbed it gently while I swayed my hips. Rocky returned with the towels and a report that Wyatt was still napping.

"What's taking the doctor so long?" he muttered under his breath. A burn started in my lower region and I gasped.

"Oh Goddess," I moaned. "I feel one right there!"

"Okay, rest your head on your forearms and push," Ella directed as she placed a towel under me. I obeyed and screamed in pain. "Good job! Just a couple more just like that and the first pup will be here."

"I can't wait to meet our pups, Baby. Two beautiful babies that we'll love and cherish," Stone whispered into my ear as he continued to rub my back. I pushed again and heard a gurgle then a loud cry.

"The cord is around the neck. Karis, we're going to help you squat so I can move the cord," Ella said. I winced as her and Stone moved me so I was leaning on the sofa behind me. I felt her move the baby a bit and then it slid out.

"A girl!" my mate let tears slide down his cheeks as he stared at his wailing daughter in awe as Ella wrapped her in a towel and handed her to me. I sobbed as I held her to my chest.

"A baby girl! Oh Stone! Our baby!" I smiled at her and kissed her nose. "Justice Irene."

"Karis, the other baby is bigger so when you feel your next contraction, push hard," Ella said as she passed Justice to her father. I lowered myself to the ground and watch my mate interact with our child. The familiar pain returned and I pushed hard as I felt everything stretch wider around the baby's head. I screeched as I felt the baby crown. I felt light headed but determined to deliver the baby safely. I pushed hard and long only to feel the baby's head slip out.

"Come on, Karis. Stay awake," Rocky handed Stone a cold, wet cloth to dab on my forehead as he took a turn with his niece. I grunted as I pushed again and felt the shoulders stretch me further.

"One more, Karis!" Ella smiled. I groaned but complied and I heard an even louder cry than the first. "It's a boy!"

"Axel James," I said between pants as I laid my head on Stone's shoulder.

"Our baby boy! Wyatt will be so excited!" he kissed all over my face.

"Speaking of," Rocky passed Justice to Ella. "Let me go check on him." I nodded and pressed my lips to my mate's.

"I'm tired," I sighed.

"I know, Baby. We'll get you to bed," he returned the kiss and looked down at Axel in my arms. We heard a thunder of footsteps and Rocky rushed in holding a blanket.

"He's gone! The window's broken and Wyatt's gone!"
