Chapter 9- Walks and their Talks

Marco's POV Star came stomping downstairs and her face had been completely red. "What's wrong?" I asked. "I'll tell you while we're walking." She said. I was scared to find out to be honest. When we left, Star kept looking at the ground. "So, uh...star...what had happened up there?" I asked. "W-what? Oh! Yea, me and Oskar broke up." She kicked a rock towards the street. "What happened?" I asked with happiness in my voice. "Well, Oskar knocked on my window and then he offered to take me on a ride with him. But I said no since we're walking. Then he said I can't hang out with you anymore and all this stuff. So I said I should see different people and then he said, well maybe you should. The end." She continued with a smile. "Wow, intense." I said with a grin on my face. We walked and walked until we finally reached the gas station, and then we walked back. "Hey, Star. I'm still super sorry about last night." I said disappointed. "It's fine Marco, anyways, I enjoyed it." She turned her head to me. "You did?!" I shot my head up. "Yeah...um, hey Marco." She continued. "I was wondering, instead of just hanging inside for the rest of the morning, maybe we could go to the park?" She asked. "Sure! I'd love to!" I exclaimed. Star's POV Ok, you guys caught me. Yes, I do like Marco now. I kind of caught feelings for him last night. He was just so sweet, and his hair rustling in the wind just had me....ugh! Soo...I thought the park would be a good place for the two of us. When we dropped off the Lazer puppies we made our way down town. Finally we reached the park and there was a bench where we sat down. "Arn't the Stars beautiful?" He asked me. "Yeah." I replied. He got closer to me and then he picked me up and sat me on the ground. "Hey! What was that for?" I asked. Before he replied, he sat down right next to me, took of his hoodie, and then wrapped it around me. "Aw, thanks!" I said. "No problem....and um, Star. I wanted to ask you something. Since you and Oskar are broken up...would you, um...maybe like to..." I stopped him. "Yes Marco, I would love to go out with you." I said.
