"Where do you wanna go?"
"Someplace far from my father," Seoyeon mumbled as she gazed outside, watching cars race after each other.
The traffic lights turned red, putting the car into a stop. She mindlessly looked outside, barely aware of the eyes that bore through her skin.
"Actually, head towards the CIUB. I need to get some work done. Do you the way?" she asked, glancing at the man beside him for a bit.
"Yes, of course, miss. I very much know the way, bet I could drive us there with closed eyes." he bragged.
"You bet? We'd be dead the moment you close your eyes!" she said, rolling her eyes at him.
He clicked his tongue behind his teeth— a teasing sound when paired with the slight smirk playing on his lips. His hand gripped the steering wheel tightly, making his veins pop out more.
Seoyeon gulps and immediately averts her gaze somewhere else, not knowing why the sight suddenly bothered her.
She opened the compartment, expecting to see packets of gums and cigarettes but she saw something unexpected instead.
