The new started to life

# scene- it is December and it was snowing#

A year later in Phoenix Drop Katelyn has settled well in her new home. The only thing she hates is Travis annoying her but she some reason everything he annoyed her she feels like a comfort around him and also sense something different about him to a normal human.

Katelyn POV

I was getting breakfast but then heard a knock on the door so went to door and said " Who is it ". It me Aphmau I was if you want to go ice staking" the voice on other side was.

"Okay"I said so open the door and quickly eat my breakfast and walked out of my house. So we went of the village gate and we toke the path toward my village but I don't know we were going near it.

Aphmau said " well hear we are and Katelyn meet Aaron , Lawrence and finally Garroth". The three of them said hi and I said hi back.

We found a shack and I sat near the lake and but then Travis was about to make me jump but fell and slide in the middle of the ice. I laughed but realised something was wrong.

Travis was shivering look like he was scared and I said " Are you okay Travis and are coming off". Travis looked at and said " I can't ice stake and frightened of ice and how you know".

Aphmau said " hold on we help once I get my stakes on ". Travis said " please HURRY up ". Then when I decide to go on the ice bare foot". The ice will not hurt me because under my feet are dragon scale which protect me .

Travis POV

"Katelyn what doing you can't stake bare foot". I said in a shocked voice.
But then saw Katelyn ice stake over toward me and I said " How that impossible it should hurt". Katelyn went pale and look down. I know that Katelyn was nerves about something. Katelyn said " I have- to get use to ice staking bare foot because when I live with my uncle I decide try ice staking bare foot and then took time for my feet to get use to it on the ice". I could sense that I was being lied to but I think it something that I should not question. Katelyn then helped me up and I slipped and fell into Katelyn. She grabbed me tight around my waist so I would not fall. I look at her and she was blushing. I blushed too then Katelyn stop and said " well let get you off the ice". I nodded and then Katelyn decide push me and I slide on the ice and toward to snow where Dante help get of.
Then I said " thanks Katelyn". Katelyn slide backward. Then I heard Aphmau said " WATCH OUT". Then realised there was a branch in the way of Katelyn but I said anyway. She when fast and then jump and did black flip in mid flight and land perfectly on the ice.

Everyone was shocked at what they saw. Then Katelyn came back toward them and said " That was so close and thanks for the warning Aphmau".
Aphmau then said " your welcome and were the hell did learn to do that".

Katelyn replied " I been practise for a while and I can also I can ice dance as well".
