Chapter Six: Purpleeeeeee POweeeeerrrr!
Turtle
"Um...How do I get back home?"
They are the most embarrassing, self-esteem ruining, backstabbing words ever... and I had to ask my boss that.
We, as in the two knocked out girls, two oversized guard dogs, and I, were all piled in Sileen's room. This wouldn't have been a problem is we weren't all trying to be on the bed.
I waited for the Sandman to answer me, but it seemed as if he had disappeared. I looked at the power and saw that it was fully charged. Right before I was about to assume the worst, I heard guffaw come from the Device. Despite his overall sleepy appearance, the Sandman can let out one, mean laugh.
"Quit laughing! It's not like we have any spare time ships lying around in the garage and I surely didn't come here on a dragon! Ugh, just tell me how to get home...and how to get this purple stuff off my arms. Qui is shedding it just as furiously as Liam eats those pudding cups!" I complain into the Device. When silence is all I hear, I grow angry. His. Daughter. Is. UNCONCIOUS!
"Need we forget the lives of your only descendant and her innocent human friend are in the hands of the one you mock." I growl into the Device. I begin to get the feeling that I'm talking to myself before I hear scuffling in the background.
"Oh, hold onto your pants Turtle! We all know you couldn't harm her if you tried. I mean, you've practically been in love with her since-" I heard Liam's voice casually remark before the Device was snatched again to the Sandman.
"Well, if she's shedding like Liam eats pudding cups then this must be serious!" he joked. "If she's just ridding herself of all that pretty purple fur, then use it. Look around Sileen's room. What color do you think likes her? It's practically attracted to her! Remember, They use purple, you use black or green or whatever sorry color is in love with you!" he sleepily ended. I heard the sharp click of the Device shutting off and knew I was hung up on.

You know that moment where you thought you had a good idea and you've started carrying through with it and now you realize... you look like a complete idiot with two unconscious girls and a whole lot of fairy dust.
Well, it was more like glowing, mysterious beast hairs.
I had officially given up. I'd tried wishing really, really hard. I'd tried saying some magical words, that were actually nonsense, and waving my hands around. Heck, I'd even tried throwing a bunch of the glowing purple nonsense and prancing around the room with some terrible ballerina moves.
As could be obviously guessed, that did not work.
I looked over at Pepe and caught him looking back. If he wasn't so scary-looking I would have sworn he was smiling at me. His various, jagged rows of teeth were unusually bright for a beast.
It was at that moment where I wondered is he flossed.
Dispelling the distracting thoughts from my head, I started to move. I walked up to her bookcase steps. Gently stepping on each one, I looked at all the books she had. I tried to peer at the top shelf, but I couldn't tell what was up there. I had no clue how she got up there.
I arrived to the middle of the overhang/balcony and looked out over her room. What I saw shocked me.
Qui painted me a picture...with her weird, magic hairs.
After accepting the fact that today was just going to be an overwhelming day, I actually studied what the picture was. The hairs pointed to a purple circle around the two girls and their beast. They completely covered the bed and its subjects, making the girls and the beasts look like purple blobs. Then, another cluster of hairs formed my staff. The last mini picture was of a fireplace. I felt like I recognized it, but I couldn't tell from where.
