Violet

As we sat around the table eating gummy shots and playing truth or dare on this hot summer night it was now Dion's turn.

"Truth or Dare?" Demali asked as she stared at Dion.

"Dare." he answered with confidence.

She tapped the dare icon on my Ipad and looked towards us as the answer appeared.

She smiled deviously "I dare you to kiss Vi for 30 seconds." She said.

'Holy Shit' I looked wide eyed at Dion. The look of excitement was in his eyes as he inched forward.

'This is happening, but I can't...' my breathing started to hitch in my throat as I hesitated towards him.

Without notice he pulled me by the waist and our lips crashed against each other into the most need filled kiss as my thoughts of Luke melted away in that moment.

30...20...15...10...5...4...3...2...1.

The kiss was over as fast as it started and I was left there to revel in my thoughts as the game continued on. "VI!!!!" Mali and Dion yelled to get my attention.

"Huh?" I answered scared out of my thoughts.

"Your turn, truth or dare?" Dion said to me.

"Dare." I answered confidently awaiting the next crazy dare that might lead me into more trouble than I bargained for.

'This is gonna be loooonnnngggg night.'
