Delilah's POV
January 18, 2014
Dear Diary,
Today is the day I finally start my journey, the journey of finding other kids like me. On this day fourteen years ago, I was born. But I wasn't normal and my mother knew this, but didn't know why. It had something to do with my eyes though. They were silver, not a regular grey pair of eyes. They seemed to glow, especially in the dark. We didn't know why, until we saw one of those commercials on TV that warns people about certain medicines that were used but later found dangerous. Saiorsemianaka, a medicine that was injected to only 100 pregnant women, all in mother's line of work, was made to help the fetus continue too grow while the mother worked in harsh conditions, such as the factory my mom worked in. There are only a couple of side-effects to the medicine, like constipation, diarrhea, nausea and vomiting. It was a very rare possibility something could happen to the child the mother was baring, but there was a waver that had to be signed in order to get the medicine, so my mom knew the risk she was taking be getting the injection. There was a 1-in-25 chance that a child would be born with a birth-defect, and I was that 1. And since it was a 1-in-25 chance that means that there are only 4 kids in this world that have these weird eyes, meaning 3 more like me. So now I'm on a mission to find those other 3 supernatural misfits. I say supernatural, because I have powers, that showed up when I turned 13. I have the ability to read minds, tell the future, teleport, and use telekinesis. But that's all I know about it, I don't even know how to use it properly, which is why I was recently put into home schooling, to make sure I wouldn't accidently provoke my powers in front of my school. But that is pretty much it. Welcome to the crazy life of Delilah Fay.. I've been expecting you. No literally, I saw you in the future reading this entry.
Sincerely (I'll fix this later),
Delilah Sirriah Fay

(A/N: The pronunciation of the medicine is Seer-Sha-Mee-AHN-Ah-KAH. I hope you will enjoy this story, because I'm sure I'll enjoy making it.)
