It's too crowded in this hallway... But that is to be expected in a school of this size, the boy in the black thought, while pressing his hands onto his headphones to force them closer to his ears in hopes of drowning out the noise even further, but despite that why must they be so loud? I hate it when it's so noisy. He was walking down the hallway, at the snail's pace that was mandatory when a hallway of such small size that tried to hold such large numbers of occupants, when another student, who was moving at an impossible speed, shoved passed him knocking the boy in the black clothes slightly off balance. And I really hate that! The boy thought, pressing even harder on his head phones, while pressing the button on them that turned up the noise of the already blaring piano symphony. The boy had almost pushed down the hate that had been pounding in his heart, losing himself to the sound of the piano, when yet another exceptionally fast student shoved into him, this time even harder than the last. Taken by surprise the boy fell and the crowd parting before him, the shock preventing him from even putting his hands out in time. There was an audible snap that pierced even through its headphones, as its nose met the floor. When it managed to push itself up a little, it knew that its nose was broken and bleeding. However when it check the floor it wasn't the crimson blood that it had hoped for, nor the emerald ichors that it was used to that meet his eyes.
Black, it thought, black as ink, black as night, black as Death itself. At this moment it lost all hope, for it knew it was no longer human nor would it ever be again. For less than a moment it felt sadness in the hollow that had once been its heart, but was quickly replaced as a scent made it through the turned's own blood to the remains of the nostril. The scent was that of blood, blood of a Taint not yet spilled. Blood. Blood! BLOOD! The thought raced through the turned's shattered mind, as it swerved around slamming its rapidly changing arm into the student that had approached it.
It had been a regular day so far for Jason as he walked down the hallway of his overcrowded high school, following the crowd at the snail's pace they were going on their way to class when the crowd suddenly parted around a student who had fallen to the ground.
"Hey," Jason walking over to the boy who seemed to be shaking on the ground, "Are you alright?"
What turned around was not a boy. Its face was distorted and what looked like bleached bone had begun to grow over it as its body began to grow, its clothes ripping as its body expanded and fur sprouting where the bone wasn't. Its black pitiless eyes glared at him from it's now horned head as it swung its spiked and horribly enlarged arm at Jason who caught the blow, the crowd of high schoolers running away, screaming in terror.
Jason Gasped in pain as he was flung into the air, gasping for breath as he awaited the inevitable crash to the earth.
It never came.
When his breath finally returned he stared down the bull like thing beneath him that was growling and snapping at him. He was floating high above the ground and when his panicked eyes glanced at the edges of his body he saw waves of heat flowing from him.
That is when it roared and jumped at him.
Jason held up his hands and there was a bright flash of light and heat and when he put them down what had remained of the bull creature was a smoldering human body.
He stared for a moment more before his ragged breathing failed him and he collapsed falling from the ground, falling into unconsciousness.
