Betrayal

5 Am

BZZT...BZZT...BZZT. Nick rustled back and forth asleep, as his door buzzed. While Judy impatiently waited outside waiting for him to answer it, but Nick wouldn't budge. Eventually Judy gave up on waiting and got her spare key to nick's apartment and walked in to see him asleep. She rolled her eyes and looked around his room to see a blow horn sitting on the counter. A devilish smile grew across Judy's face as she got the blow horn and pressed the button down. A loud wailing sound of truck blew through the apartment making Nick jump out of his bed and onto the floor.

Judy laughed hard as nick glared up at her. "Good morning sleepy head" Judy taunted as she stood over nick. "Need....sleep...." Nick mumbled as he pulled the covers off his bed and hide under them. "Oh no mister!" Judy ripped the covers off him. "I've been waiting outside your door for what felt like forever because you said you would be ready." Nick looked up at Judy half-awake. "Uhgg..what time is it?" He mumbled again as Judy took his paw. "It's 5 am and we have to be at Zpd in a hour to meet Chief Bogo so get up! Judy exclaimed as she pulled on his arm trying to get him up. Nick watched her struggle to try and pull him up and with a quick flick of his wrist Judy lost her grip and fell flat on her butt. She crossed her arms and glared at him as Nick smirked and got to his feet. "Alright, alright carrots. You win, just give me a second to get ready." Nick walked over to his closet only wearing his black and blue striped boxers and started pulling out his uniform. Out of the corner of his eye he could see Judy staring and almost blushing as he changed. "Just take a picture carrots it will last longer." Nick teased as Judy blushed and scrambled to get out his door. "Ohh..uhh...i'll just wait outside!"

Nick chuckled and put his uniform on as Judy held her head and tried to stop blushing. Finally after a couple minutes Nick came out of his apartment and locked the door. "Come on, hurry! It's already 5:25am and Bogo is waiting for us." Judy rushed as she pulled on Nick's shirt. "Why does he want to see us this early again?" Nick asked as they made their way outside to the Police SUV.

"I'm honestly not sure. He told me to make sure you and I are there by 6 am and that he would explain once we got there." she explained as Nick walked around to get in the drivers seat. "Then we better not keep him waiting." Judy looked at him confused. "And what do you think you are doing?" Nick looked over at her from the driver's seat. "I'm driving." He smirked. "Uh no your not I have the keys" Judy went to get the keys but then noticed they were missing. "You mean these keys?" Nick held up the keys and jingled them to tease Judy as he started the car. "Alright you sly fox." She said as she rolled her eyes and chuckled as she got in the car. "The only good side to being up this early is that there will be little to no traffic." Nick said as they pulled off headed for the ZPD.
