"Hurry up! We're gonna be late," Danny says from the kitchen.
"Late for what?" I groan, getting up from my bed. "It's the weekend, there's no school."
"Just get ready," he says sternly.
"Fine."
I stand up and stretch. I open my clothes dresser and take out a shirt and some pants. I step into the washroom. Close the door. Then scream.
"Ellie? Are you okay?"
"Daniel! Get in here!"
"What?!" He rushes into the washroom. I point to a large spider in the washroom. "You scared me. It's just a spider." He looks at me and my terrified face. "Alright, I'll take it outside." He picks it up and walks out of the washroom. I calm down and then begin to change. He opens the door when I have my shirt half on. I feel my face flush dark red and so does his.
"I-I'm so sorry-" he starts.
"God damnit, Daniel! Learn how to knock, will you!" I shout. He backs away slowly.
"Sorry... Hurry up, Elena," he closes the door.
