What secret? Did they think my ears and tail were fake? Why doesn't he explain everything? What is going on?
"Go. Hurry we should go back to the room now. Come on, let's go." Luna said to me telepathically. She nudges me to move but I just can't. I'm frozen. All I can do is stand there. I don't even realize I've turned back into a human. I'm too caught up in trying to figure out the answers to all my questions. The room starts to get fuzzy since I'm not focusing on anything in the room. Just my mind. I numbly walk to the chair in the living room. Not caring if anyone sees me. I don't even notice Mitch come up to me with a sword to my neck.
"What are you doing outside of your room without permission, again?" Mitch snaps. I don't say anything. I just stare blankly into space.
"Answer me!" Mitch yells, but I still don't answer. I can barely hear him.
"Fine, you'll be punished for this. Vikk, Preston. Take her down to the room." He grins evilly and let's out a small laugh. Rob just sits there. I can't see Luna. Lachlan is no where to be seen either.
I feel hands grab my arms but I don't see anyone grabbing them. Must be Vikk. Preston puts his hand lightly on my back and walks me down the hallway to the end and takes a left. There's a bookshelf that I assume is a fake one. My assumption is proved right when Vikk, who's not invisible anymore, pulls out one book at an angle and the bookshelf pulls back and slides into the wall. There's a dimly lit staircase that leads down stairs. Vikk takes my arm and pulls me down the stairs violently.
We reach the end of the stairs and I see a small room with a cage in the middle. There's a bed with two blankets folded up and placed at the end. Vikk shoves me in the cage and rolls out a table. With all sorts of tools. A short knife, a long knife, a jagged edged saw-like knife, a screwdriver, a few pairs of scissors, pliers, and just about any other typical torture device. Preston looks at me with sad eyes then turns away. I step back when he looks at me. I still can barely look at him. And he's my own flesh and blood. God, I'm so weak.
Preston steps back into a somewhat dark corner and looks at Vikk. I watch Vikk blankly as he drags his hand over the tools and finally picks up a short knife. He walks over to me and laughs. "This'll be fun!"

(Mitch's P.O.V)
Ugh. She's so problematic. Why can't she be like the other girl and just not cause any trouble? We don't even need the other girl. She might be useful later, but we don't need her.
I hear screams echo from the basement. I put on a crooked smile.
"That's what I like to hear!" I exclaim.
"Why'd you make P go down the Mitch?" Rob asked "You know that's his sister right?"
"Oh I know. And that's exactly why I told him to go down there." I answered with a smirk.
Another scream was heard and it was like music to my ears!
"He needs to know that she is just a thing we need and they're sibling relationship is void in this situation. If he doesn't get that through his head, then he can be disposed of and replaced. Simple," I explained with no expression in my face.
"Poor P..." Rob mumbled. Tears threatening to fall from his eyes. I summon a sword and run up to him,
the sword pressed against his neck.
"Gonna cry?" I asked sternly. "I can get rid of you just as easily as Preston."
"Wait. Where's Lachlan?" Jerome asked.
"How should I know? I don't keep tabs on you guys all the time," I replied
"I'll go find him. Someone should," Rob stated while getting off the couch. He walked to the hallway and started looking in all the rooms. Starting with Lachlan's.
I hadn't heard any screams in a while. Ugh. I'm going to have to check on them, aren't I? Damn it. Hey do I have to be the one to get everything done right around here?
I walk down the hallway, my signature scowl on my face. I reached the bookshelf and opened it. I walked down the stairs and say something I didn't want to see. Vikk was on the floor, a small puddle of blood forming next to his left leg. His left leg looked to have multiple stab wounds in it. I looked at the table and noticed one of the knives was gone, and the cat girl was no where to be seen.
Preston was rocking back in forth, whispering things to him self between sobs. I'll deal with him later. I pick up Vikk and take him upstairs to kitchen. Jerome looked back and forth between Vikk and I. He noticed my expression and nodded. I left the room and went for Preston.
"WHAT HAPPENED DOWN HERE???!!!" I snarled.
"Cat... blood... dog... blood... blood... fire... " Preston bawled.
"Fire? Did you do this Preston?!" I yelled. Preston just shook his head and pointed towards the stairs. I stormed out of the room. I walked down the hallway as two swords manifested in my hands. These twin blades were special. I had received them before I grew cold. They showed me that I won't get things done if I care for others feelings. These blades only came out when I was truly infuriated.
I stopped in the kitchen when I saw Luna standing next to Jerome, with Vikk on the kitchen table. I didn't know what she was doing, but I don't want to deal with her right now. I walked over to her and struck her with the end of my sword and knocked her out. When she was on the floor I kicked her across the room.
Jerome saw the "frigid blades", what the twin blades are called, and immediately ran in front of me. I raised my blades to his throat in the shape of an "X". He looked into my eyes with his Carmel eyes, and my breath hitched. I hesitated before dropping he frigid blades. I couldn't do it. The only person I can't be heartless towards is the one who has my heart. He doesn't know it yet, but I'm hopelessly in love with him. The blades faded away on the floor, and I walked away silently, still seething mad.
I need to find her. She's important to this plan. We need her. Her friend is expendable, but she might prove useful should the need to use her arise. I open all the doors in the house, starting with the girls room. Nothing. I then go to the rest of the pack's rooms looking in Preston's room last. I enter Preston's room and start searching. I check everywhere when I realize that Preston has a secret area in his room. We call "the extinguisher" room. We call it that because he goes there to meditate or something. I don't know it helps him get in control of his flame or whatever.
I go into Preston's closet and pull apart the clothes that are hanging. I'm met with a fake wall that I simply push open and find "the extinguisher". As I look around my eyes widen. I see Mac surrounded by flames her eyes completely red and glowing. A stream of blood slowly falls from her right eye. What shocks me even more is that the fire proof walls of "the extinguisher" have serious burn marks on them.
I calm myself down and summon a baseball bat. What? It's useful. I slowly come up behind her and knock her out with the bat. She falls to the ground, the flames diminished as she fell. Her eyes slowly went back to normal. I grab her ankle and drag her out of the room. I bring her out of Preston's room and into hers. I toss her on to her bed and slam the door.
Seeing Rob attempt to calm down Preston makes me laugh. I saunter towards Preston and pick him up by his neck.
"We need to talk," I say before throwing him back in the couch, "NOW!"~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~
