"Wow, this is where Jasper is?" Peridot said, gazing at the hundreds of bubbled gems in the temple's bubble room. Peridot looked for the orange gem. Suddenly, a glimmer of orange caught her eye. She climbed up the vines of the bubble room as the thought of seeing Jasper again caused an array of emotions to fill her mind. It was soon visible that the orange gem had a rhombus shape. "Jasper!" Peridot said out loud. She carefully brought the bubbled gem to the ground. "Peridot?" A voice echoed through the room. "What are you doing?" Peridot turned around to find Steven. "Steven! You need to help her!" Peridot told Steven. She showed him the orange bubbled rhombus. "Jasper?" Steven wondered, remembering past memories of Jasper, then he remembered, corruption. "Ok. Fine." He said. He carefully released the gem from the bubble, nearly regretting it already. Peridot and Steven watched and the orange gem soon released light that soon took the form of the half corrupted Jasper. (Jasper isn't fully corrupted yet) Jasper landed on the bubble room floor with a bang. "Jasper?" Steven quietly said as he watched Jasper struggle to move. She was noticeably scared. "Jasper, it's me, Steven. I'm going to help you." Jasper gave Steven a death glare before going back to being afraid. After all, she had no idea where she was. Steven moved closer to the big quartz. "You won't be like this anymore if you just let me help you." Steven continued, "Just calm down and don't move," Jasper moved closer to Steven, in a pre-attack way. Steven let out a nervous laugh. "Jasper?" The gem arched over Steven. "Listen I will heal you aaand-" Steven was cut off by the fear of what to do next. "aaand we-we can pretend this never happened if you want." The big gem continued to rise above Steven. Peridot was behind a vine, not strong enough to take on Jasper. She looked at Jasper, tearing up. She felt bad for Jasper. He helped her so much back on homeworld. She brought herself to go out and speak to Jasper herself. She got close to the gem. Jasper quickly turned to peridot and got down to her height, examining the green gem. "Jasper? Remember me?" She placed her hand on Jasper's back, comforting her. Jasper let out a sigh as she left peridot's arm and stood I front of a vine nearly in tears. Peridot went to comfort her. "Let Steven help you Jasper. Look at you. This isn't the Jasper you wanna see." Peridot said kindly. "And this certainly isn't the Jasper I wanna see." she said a little more sarcastic. Peridot shook her head. "-but Steven can fix you. Soon, it will be too late." A tear ran down peridot's face. Jasper lowered her head and carried her not yet fully corrupted self over to Steven. "Um, Jasper, hold still. This is kind of awkward." Steven kissed Jasper's gem. Jasper began to glow until the light took the form of Jasper, once again hitting the floor hard. "Jasper! Your back!" Peridot ran to Jasper. "Peri!" Jasper said.
