After i finally clarified that i was in love with Henry i started getting nightmares ever single night after that until last night when i got a nice (not really) visit from the grave.

"what are you doing with my fiance?"

"wha......wha.....?"

"ha ha ha pathetic. i rather thought Henry would pick someone more.......smart shall we say?"

"well......well.......same with you!" i tried

"ha! you think im gormless, nonintelligent and ugly! pah! talk about Henry!"

"well at least hes actually moved on! not like you!"

"your saying im not dead?"

"what are you here for anyway?" i asked, quite politely.

"to take you down to hell with me so you can have a taste of death for once because your a gormless little brat that is a ruthless fiance stealer!" she howled

"well you obviously don't like him. killing yourself like that" i replied

"woah. now your just going to far!" so she grabbed hold of my arm, very carelessly but bone-numbing.Then she started to flounce down some stairs that mysteriously appeared under my floor then she yelled "Goodbye Laura Smith!" then she tossed me down nearly all the stairs except one leading down to a red river with someone at the other end steering the mixture like it was a witch's cauldron.

I sat up and looked around

"why?" i asked "why make Henry more unhappy. losing two of his best girls!?"

"oh don't doss your sympathy on me. Pathetic little girl!"

"don't blame me if you see him wandering aimlessly around the field with his head down"

"and" i began " you'll find that i can't die either so whos the pathetic one now?" i grinned and pushed myself up to a stand.

"what..........what.......?" she said stepping backwards

"ha ha ha" i cackled "pathetic little wish wasn't it, for me to die? when you can't even do that can you?"

"n......n....no" she looked down "i suppose i can't i'm sorry Laura very sorry please don't send me back"

"send you back where, Petulia?"

"i....i?"

"where?!" i grinned

"noooooooooooooo!" and then she was swallowed up in the storm that was, hell.

I then woke up to Henry staring at me with a bouquet of flowers in his hands.

"whos the lucky girl?" i asked rubbing my eyes and sitting up.

"my mother, actually" he said, but was blushing

"really?" i smiled and got up.

"errrr, yes really" he said, hesitantly

"why are you here then?"

"i...i have a favour to ask of you"

"yes?"

"can you come to the ball with me tonight"

"ball?"

"the annual town ball" he said "its on every year"

"yeah, i guessed" i said, then: "sure i'll come or whatever you victorians say"

"errrrrrr ok i'll just...."

"yeah, you can wait just outside, i'll be outside in a mo"

"oh,okay"
