“I will make you go to jail, I swear I will!”
“You’re a bitch, just like your m-.”
“Mother? Is that what you were going to say? I’m gonna tell her everything about you!”
He clutched my left hand and pressed it tightly, pushing me violently through my bedroom door. I was hurt but I kept looking straight in his dark blue eyes, pretending that I was not afraid or hurt.
“What are you gonna tell your mother? That you tried to stab me with her favourite kitchen knife because I asked you to stop mentioning that loner of a dad that you have?” Mike claimed.
We heard the door key turn in its lock. He let my hand and I immediately ran to my bed crying out loud. Pretending nothing happened. Pretending nothing was said or done.
