Chapter 3

After I got out of the shower, I decided to wear my black dress, with the little slit down the side of it, it looks smart but not too smart.  I put my hair up in a messy bun and just put on some nude make up, not too much just incase they dont like it. I grabbed my small black heels and slipped on my bare feet. I grabbed my little black shoulder bag and put my phone and purse inside with the lipstick I'm wearing now just incase it rubs of, I walked down the wooden staircase and Went to the fridge to grab a bottle of water and a muffin for on my way. My mum made a fuss of how I look and tried to straighten out everything before I could leave the house.
I stood at the bus stop and waited for my bus as I ate my white chocolate muffin, and realised I have 20 minutes until my interview so I walked instead as its 10 minutes away from my house..
I finally arrived at the house and knocked on the door.
"You must be grace?"
"Yes, hello"
"Right this way"
The house looked amazing it was huge with 3 floors.. I'm guessing the man is on the bottom floor.
"Hello grace, I'm Tom's mother Helen, so lovely to meet you"
"Lovely to meet you too Helen"
"So grace my son is paralysed in his legs and I am looking for someone to help him and care for him from 11am-9pm, why would you like to do it?"
"I love people and I'm very good at making people smile and caring for people, I cared for my nan who passed from Lung failure so I have some experience I suppose?"
"Would you like to meet him and see what you're dealing with?"
"Yes of course"
The corridor is so long it seems like it goes on forever... When we got to the end of the corridor there was sliding doors which was Tom's room. I am so excited to meet him..
Helen opened the doors and he was facing the other way.
"Tom this is grace she would like to meet you, she may be your new carer, I'll leave you together for a moment to introduce"
"Hello Tom, I'm grace it's a pleasure to meet you"
"Hello grace would you mind turning me around, I'm too tired"
"Yes, yes of course"..
"I'm kidding Grace I can do it!"
"Oh, oh okay"
He is stunning and has an amazing smelling deodorant.
"So you want to look after me as my mother puts it?"
"Yes, I've been looking for a job for so long and I finally think this job may be good for me, I love people and looking after them, when I'm needed, I'm very committed"
"Okay? Could you start now?"
"Yes, if that's what you would like?"
"I want her mother"
Helen came back in the room and smiled at me and then walked off and went to grab the booklet of things I need to know.. And then left us too it.
