"Hey Adam, want to play Frisbee?" Matt asked me one autumn morning. By morning, I mean three AM.

"What the fuck Matt, it's three in the morning!" I exclaimed.

"Yeah, but you were already awake, and you were probably just watching Rapunzel again." He said. He was right, about both things.

I sighed. "Fine, I'll come over."

"Yay!" he cheered, and then he hung up.

I paused the movie and moved toward the window. Outside, the moon hung in the middle of the sky. It was bright, because it was almost full moon. Something inside me stirred and I shuddered. Tomorrow...tomorrow would be full moon. And like I did every full moon, I would transform into a dreaded wolf butt. I never really could remember how it first happened-none of my parents were werewolf butts, and you can't really be bitten by a butt-yet every single full moon without fail, my human body was transformed into the bottom half of a wolf. None of my friends knew my secret. It's also why I'm stuck with my current girlfriend, Abbey.

Every other girlfriend I'd ever had had abandoned me the second I told them...some out of horror, and some because they thought I was nuts. But somehow Abbey had known my secret without me telling her. She had been a fan of Owl City-that's my stage name-for years, and somehow figured it out through seven intense years of stalking. Nobody else seems to know, thankfully...and even if they did, how could a bunch of 12 year olds prove it?

Abbey, unluckily for me, was my age though, and blackmailing me with the threat of spilling my secret, she forced me to date her. I had no choice but to say yes, and less than two days later she moved in next door. I can't imagine what happened to my old neighbor, Mrs. Johnson. Now don't get me wrong, Abbey isn't...the worst. It's kinda could to have someone know everything about you, and she always knows what to get me. And even though it's a bit creepy that she modeled her interests after mine, it's nice to have someone who you can talk to about...everything. Plus, she's finally letting me go outside without a leash and shock collar! Sometimes, she lets me go out alone, too! Speaking of which....I glanced out the window once more, this tine focusing on the house next door.

Abbey's face was pressed against the window of her home, her breath fogging up and blurring her features. She lifted her hand and wrote "HI ADAM" in her breath-fog. I shuddered, but waved awkwardly. "Going to Matt's" I mouthed at her. "I'll be right there." She mouthed back. Great. I put on a jacket and stepped outside.

Abbey was already there, and despite the freezing Minnesota temperatures, was wearing a sleeveless pink ball gown. "Hi Adam" she purred, rubbing her head up and down my arm. "It's so cooooold out her." She moaned. I groaned. Of course she'd do this to me. She gave me a warning punch. "Fine, fine. Do you want to borrow my jacket?" I asked her reluctantly. "OH ADAM, THAT'S SOOOOOOOO SWEET OF YOU!" she squealed, violently ripping my jacket off my arms before I'd had a chance to do so myself. She always did this, and never gave any of my jackets back. That was my last one. Ignoring the goosebumps on my arms, I shivered and headed towards my car, Abbey at my heels. "Let's go." I sighed, unlocking the doors.
