Lucy

3 years later

I've been living in a deep forest alone for the past three years. The climate appears to be warm, with a good amount of moisture.

I've created myself a dirt path to lead to a river in the forest, incase I forget its location. I walk along the dirt path until I reach the river. The river was as silver as diamond flame and the atmosphere was convent quiet.

Even the depths were vodka clear. It was soothing and yogi still. Freckled trout were leaping for flies and thunking on its surface.

The rising sun caused a division of armed flies to swarm into the air. The scene was so glorious that I had a lightning bolt moment. The damp grass smelled utopian. I took a sip of water from the stream.
It tasted like a sweet medicine, a potion for the spirit.
Each morning when the sun rises, dense mist covers the air, which gives me a chance to strip down and take a shower in the river.

I dip my left foot in the icy cold water to test the temperature. It felt so calming and peaceful. The current was very steady. I slowly leap into the river and begin to feel the fish poke at my feet. It begins to tickle me and I let loose an unrestrained, blissful, bubbly, joyous, and raucous laugh.

A powerful dark force surrounds me and releases an insane amount of magic power.
Seconds later, the motion cut and the fish begin to float on the shorelines.
Fuming hot smoke came through my ears as I Scrunch my face, making it go as red as an obnoxious apple.
My eyes turn stone cold. "Three damn years.. and I still can't harden my heart. I can't hide my love for nature or humanity!"

"At least we have dinner now." Alarmed, I turned my head to look at where the voice had come from to see Gray. His lips pulled into a murderous smirk.

"What the hell, man?" I cover my body with my hands. "Have you ever heard of privacy?" I gave him a dirty look. "And what do you mean we?"

"My, my, you sure have grown in those past three years." His eyes pierce at my body figure.

"Shut up, you pervert!" I yell.

Timeskip

9:43 pm

Gray and I sat straight across each other cooking the fish in the camps fire. The temperatures here at night decrease drastically. We sat in silence as I begin to shiver.
"I can help you." He blurts. I tilt my head to the side, confused. He rises from the ground. "Come with me, Lucy." He extends his hand to meet mine. "I will help you with this wretched curse."
I give him a blank look, "what the hell is that supposed to mean?"

He snorts and looks away smirking. "I'll help rid you of these moral emotions. The value of life is meaningless now."

I frown. "All I want is to coexist with society again." Tears begin to form in my eyes.

"I once had that mindset." Gray firmly places his hand around my neck. Fear began to clog my throat. He whispers in my ear, "but that will never happen." The warmth escaping his mouth met my icy ears.

He tightens his grasp around my neck. Moments pass as we both stare into each others eyes.
I gasp for air, "I-I." He slowly lets go. "I'll do it, I shall accompany you along your journey."
