"How much longer until we reach the top?!," Tony shouted to Scott and Kyle. They were being the idiots they were, climbing up a huge volcano. "We're just about there!," Scott shouted back. After about another minute, they reached the blazing peak. They looked down at the scorching pit, amazed. "Let me take a picture!," Kyle said, pulling out his phone. As he was about to take the picture, his phone slipped out of his hand. "No!," Kyle shouted, reaching for the phone. He slipped and went plunging into the depths of the volcano. "Kyle!," screamed Tony and Scott. Screaming was helpless now, but little did they know that the death of their good friend, Kyle Taylor, would change the world forever.
"1 Year Later"
"Get your ass down here!," Scott shouted at Tony. He was waiting outside of Tony's house, ready to go. "Gimme a sec!," Tony shouted back. He was getting dressed for prom night. He wanted to look great for his date, Brooklyn. Scott had his date, Shannon, in the car with him. Tony was a freshman, while Scott and Shannon were juniors. Brooklyn was a sophomore. They all went to Washington High School, and they had been friends since elementary.
After about ten more minutes, Tony got in the car, ready to pick up Brooklyn. Scott looked back at him, unsatisfied. "What the fuck are you wearing? You look like the main attraction for a freak show." Shannon smacked Scott upside the head. "I think Brooklyn will love it," Shannon said, smiling. "That's why I decided to wear this. She loves black and white," Tony said. He was wearing a black button up shirt with white jeans. "Whatever, let's just go," grumbled Scott, and they were on their way.
After about ten minutes of driving in silence, the group finally reached Brooklyn's house. Tony got out and walked up to her door while Scott and Shannon waited in the car. Tony rang the doorbell and waited patiently at the door. Brooklyn came out wearing a black and white dress. Tony gave her a rose and hugged her softly, then they walked to the car together. "Everyone ready to go?," Scott asked. Everyone in the car replied with a simple "Yes" and they drove to Washington High school.
It took the group about twenty minutes to get to the high school. It was PACKED. Both of the young men walked into the school with their dates. "Would you like something to drink?," asked Mrs. Peterson. "Yes please," replied Tony. Mrs. Peterson gave both him and Brooklyn a cup of cup coke. "You look great tonight," said Brooklyn. "You too," said Tony. All of a sudden, Tony began to feel dizzy. His vision was getting wobbly and he broke into a sweat. He knew something was wrong, but he couldn't figure out what it was. That is, until a frightful image popped into his head. Kyle. Kyle wasn't here like he was all those years before the "Incident". Darkness began to overtake Tony's vision, but the last thing he saw was that sickening image of Kyle falling into that cursed volcano.
