Chapter 5(Lu)

Lu 's eyes burnt from hours of searching on her mac. She kept reading over the copies of the police files that she had her friend ,Phil obtain for her . She carefully watched the pictures which depicted the single bullet in Ki's head. . Within seconds the sombre memories of the night returned to her .
Lu closed her eyes as her mind went straight back to the night, 12th February .It was a night that for 2 years she had failed to forget. She was about 2 months pregnant. For most people this was a time of contentment but for Lu it was the worst. As in her womb she bore the child of a man who was not the love of her life. The worst part was that she did not actually know who was her child's father and she was about to try to explain this to the love of her life ,Adam.

As predicted the news struck Adam to point of disbelieve and of course anger which was indeed understandable.
For a very long time the couple exchanged gruesome comments which led both to tears . Pain took full control of their bodies as both worlds collapsed .
Slurs and curse words spat from Adam's mouth as liquor flowed through his bloodstream.

After a half of quarreling, there was loud cry of Lu's name which followed instantly after Lu had first onto the tiled floor.
She lost consciousness almost instantly.

When she woke up she was in the backseat of Ki's black sedan heading slowly along Noxin Road. All before Lu could register or understand what was happening she saw througha blur a mask man and her eyes rung with the deafening sound of a single gunshot.
The shooter said something to Lu but she failed to remember.

Phil also managed to attain information that Ki had some documents which he had 3 years ago but he was unable to retrieve them. He believed that it could be the reason he was killed. The only other questions that bothered her was why had 3 months later she was given a drug that killed her baby or had it been to kill her? And what had the Ki's murder tell her that night.

A long tiresome week had gone by and finally Lu had opened a lock door. She had gotten some information on Ki's sealed files and a couple of names of the persons whom he had either been working with or working for. Heartbreaking as it was for Lu she had to face the fact that he brother had made some really bad choicea in his life with led to his death at only 33 years old.

As it turned out, Ki was involved in something called ' Holistic Developers ".
From Lu's knowledge this group was the most popular organization her country as they had built many schools,private hospitals and well even children's homes.
Confusion spread across Lu's face. It sounded so weird but she knew it had to mean something as files containing her brother's participation in the organization was enough for him to hide it.
