Don't tell me to act like her, or him. Don't tell me to dress like everybody else. Don't tell me to be like them. I am not him or her, I am not everybody else and I am not them. I am me and only me. I am a child with ASD. ASD is otherwise knows as Autism Spectrum Disorder. Everyday people call that a disability, they say this sets us back, that it makes us dumb. Let me make this crystal clear, it does not. Most of us call it a super power. We see things that everyday people can't, we have different opinions, we have different perspectives on everything. We may not be wonderful at one thing, but we could be extraordinary at something else. For example, me, the author, I am not so great at reading social interactions, I am however really great at writing imaginative, out of this world fiction.
