chapter one

THE START

I just want to leave this place. Everyone here makes me feel like crap beside one person and, his name is Zachary Reed Clayton. His the only one that understands me the only one that knows how to make my day ten times better with one word. And I know what your thinking I have a crush on him but I don't his just my best friend and I love him.

There's this other girl; her name is Katie. she has been out of school for a long time because her sister die and she finally came back at 3rd period today.. this is what happened.

Katie;

"hey Ave, why do you look like you just saw a ghost, are you okay?

Ava;

"yeah I'm fine I guess I was just thinking about someone"

Katie;

"who, wait I know who oh my god is it Zach. I knew it! I knew you liked Zachary!"

Ava;

"Katie stop it I don't like him; I cant like him" okay so right now there were two things going through my head. One this is what kait wants to talk about after being gone for like ten days wow, and then two as soon as I said I don't like him there was this feeling that went down my spine it was new and I didn't really think anything of it..

Katie;

"really cause 300 people and I think over wise. but whatever I'm going to be late to class ill talk to you later."

Time pasted and 6th period came along and what do you know Zach's in my class. The teacher changes sits today and Zach gets to sit next to me I was really excited I finally get to sit with a friend for once. Out of no where that odd feeling went down my spine again but not just my spine my whole body. was Katie right? she cant be; I cant like Zach it will mess up years for friend ship. Oh course it's only been one month of school and all of this has gone down... it's going to be a long year and I'm not ready.

I wanted to walk home from school today because I need to try to get this day out of my head. I continued to walk and I saw someone he look really familiar but I wasn't sure. I walked up to him and it was Zach. He lives close to me so I said
" hey zach wanna walk home with me?"

As he smirked he said " I would love to"

I just smiled and felt like I was on cloud nine but, I also was confused out of mine and so many thought were running though my head.

Zach;

" So ave, anything new happened today?"

Ave;

"how do you know if you like someone?"

Zach;

"woah what happened today?"

i didn't know what to say. we just got to my house all i could think of was "we're here. um thanks for the walk see ya.".
