I can hear rustling in the bushes around us. Moving my eyes, I squint around me and notice wild dogs walking around. They walk past us, with their footsteps getting fainter as they go further away. Hongbin releases me from his embrace but keeps his hand wrapped around mine. We continue walking and I can't help but stare at him. It's not long before we arrive at my home. The lights are off which tells me that grandfather is sleeping already.

Hongbin lets go of my hand as we walk up to my room. My mind wanders into a darkening state as I think about how he must feel. With my eyes watering, I look at him as he sits on the bed. He stares back at me blankly without moving a muscle. "..Are you okay?" I ask. "Aren't you upset that this happened to you?"

He continues to stare at me without speaking a word. I shake my head to clear those thoughts from my mind, "Sorry, I just want to help you." Slowly, I walk towards him to see him better through the dark. Hongbin gently tugs on my shirt, never has his eyes left me from this moment. My tears slip down my cheeks, unable to be contained in my weak presence. "I'm sorry, this is my fault." I can't help but say that this is my fault for what happened to him.

Roughly, he pulls me down with him onto the bed, unaware of his strength as my head slams into the pillow. Hongbin wipes my tears away and continues to stare at me with his blank face. His arms didn't leave my shoulders, but instead held me down, not letting me move from the spot. Fear shook through me for a few seconds but then my goosebumps slowly fade away. I'm no longer afraid of the Hongbin that lays in front of me, with the deathly X's in his eyes. Gently, I lift my hand onto his jawline, his soft skin sends shivers up my skin. He closes his eyes, finally no longer staring inside the universe of my eyes.

Right now, I don't want to sleep, but instead watch over him all night as if I'm assigning myself as his guardian. My heart thumps in an awkward way, a feeling that I've never felt before. I was almost drifting into sleep until I opened my half closed eyes. Unconsciously I moved towards Hongbin's lips, his face dangerously close to mine. Although, I don't think I've fallen for this boy since he's not quite normal, but I feel drawn to him in a way... Drawn to his lips by an unknown bond. Shaking it off, I ignore the feeling and move back from his face.
