I see her there, sitting on the pavement with her head tucked in her arms. It's dangerously dark now with barely anyone passing by. Why would Jay leave her here alone? Even with the loud engine, I still can hear the beat of the loud music coming from his house.

Her attention was caught by the sound of the motorcycle coming in close. Her frown only twisted to a small smile once she saw me take off the helmet. I approached her, placing my jacket over her shoulder. Her party dress is incredibly thin and no doubt she must be shivering. I sat down next to here, her gaze looking straight and distant. No words were exchanged as we only sit beside each other in complete silence, apart from the noise errupting from Jay's house.

"So how's the party?" I started off awkwardly.

"Horribly... disgusting."

I soon find myself unable to reply. I wanted to ask why, but something about it stopped me. Like it was too much of a sensetive question to ask that might trigger something in her that I'm not quite prepared to see. We were back to listening to silence, that's when after she sighed.

"Take me away from here, Zayn. Take me somewhere quiet and peaceful. Anywhere far from this... stupid place."

I gave her a curt nod and took her hand as we stood up, not questioning her request. I gently slipped my helmet on her head and guided her to the ride. I was the first one to hope in, followed by her. Her petite arms covered by the black sleeves of my jacket wraps around my waist and I tensed up as I swallowed the lump on my throat.

"You smell nice." She says in a quiet tone.

"By nice, you mean sweaty, right?"

I only heard her giggle that made me smile before the sound of the engine filled the silence. We were off driving through the empty street. I've noticed how cold it suddenly got without a fabric to cover my exposed, sweaty skin, but I rather stay cold than have her freezing.

I traced the route back to the woods. Her hands tighten around me as the surrounding gotten darker with only the light from the vehicle illuminating the way, but soon moonlight errupted when we neared the cliff. She hopped off as the vehicle slowed down before I could even turn off the engine and she begun walking close to the barrier.

"Hey, uhm... are you going to take that off?" I asked, seeing the helmet still placed on her head.

Silence was her answer as she stopped, her hands wrapping around her upper arm. I followed her once I slide out of the motorcycle. Carefully, I begin to remove the helmet. Tear stained cheeks and red eyes greeted me with sounds of soft sobs.

Questions bubbled in my mind, but I hugged her without thinking. I hugged her tight and close, almost afraid to let go. Her hands were cold as she sobbed on my shoulder, soaking my shirt with her bitter tears. Her petite arms pressed between our chest as she bury her face at the crook of my neck.

"I'm here now, it's going to be okay."

I caressed the back of her head in attempt to calm her down.

"J-Jay is a... a disgusting prick." She mumbles with anger.

"What did he do to you, love?"

If it wasn't for her in this situation, I would've hopped on that motorcycle and drove back to his place without even listening to her reasong. He did something wrong and it's enough reason for me. I didn't care if a lot of people were there to witness, but I would beat the crap out of him until he bleeds in different places and beg me to stop. As violent as it sounds, I believe I can do such a thing.
