I DID NOT DRAW THIS PICTURE!!!When the director of my school gave me an envelope, to give to my mom, I thought I was in trouble. So I decided to open the envelope so see, and my director INVITED ME TO THE PRETTY BROWN GIRL CLUB!!! I was like, YASSSS I SLAY WOOOO IM SO HAPPY!! Because I got to be with my favorite teacher!!
So anyways I showed it to my used to be bestie. I'll talk more about that later.
And my used to be bestie pointed at a picture of a white girl in the pretty brown girl picture. And she said,"Why is there a white girl in it when it is a pretty brown girl club? It's not pretty white girl club!!!"
I noticed that was so rude. Like literally I don't know if she was trying to be racist or rude, but I WOULD NEVER SAY THAT IF I WERE HER.
And I didn't know anything about lightskin and darkskin girls, like skin tone, so I didn't know what to say, I just kept looking at the picture and just being so HAPPY THAT IM GOING TO BE IN THE CLUB!!!
So at the club a learned all sorts of things. I LOVED IT.
So I learned about lightskin and darkskin, and how they aren't different it's just that lightskin, is a lighter completion then darkskin.
So, LIGHTSKIN GIRLS CAN BE BLACK/AFRICAN AMERICAN TOO.
