Brendon's POV

It's ok, you can do it. Spencer is your best friends he'll understand.

" um spence. Can we talk?? " I mumbled out nervously without making eye contact.
We were sitting in the couch at the front of the bus. Dallon was in his bunk and Ian and Zack were in the back room.

" Ye sure! What's up? " he says. His voice is reassuring and I know this conversation will go well.

" y'know. I'm gay. And um- "
" ok, who do you have a crush on today? " he interrupts.

Rude.

" promise. You em, won't be mad? " I ask. He can clearly see I'm scared and shaking. He rests his hand on my shoulder and nods.

" your my best friend bren. Nothing will make me want to change that. "
" oh okay...- "
" unless it's me you have a crush on... "
I laugh at his accusation. He says that every time.
" Sorry, not this time.. "

We both laugh and he shrugs it off.
" so who is it? "
I hesitate and look around to see if anyone else is listening.
The coast is clear.

" me and Dallon are dating "

I hear a glass drop and smash in the hardwood floor.

I thought the coast was clear.

I hesitate for a moment before turning around.

And the one person I didn't want to see is standing right there.
