Someone knocked at the door, waking her up from her memories so suddenly she stained here dress with the wine.
"Fuck" she said while taking her dress off. So, only with her bra and underwear on, she walked to the door, guessing it was just her mother out there. But when she opened it, she found herself in front of Taylor.
"Oh my God" they both screamed, Dianna blushing, Taylor smiling.
"What...what are you doing here?"
"I wanted to surprise you, but as far as I can see, you wanted to surprise someone too"
"I'm just...I stained my dress and..."
"Do you usually open your door naked?"
"I'm not naked and..well, I thought it was my mom, no big deal if she sees me in my underwear" her face was as red as the wine she just threw on her dress.
"Can I come in?"
"Of..of course."
Di closed the door behind Taylor.
"If you don't mind, I'm going to put something on and I'll be right back"
But Taylor, as if she had not heard anything, said "This place is lovely"
Dianna, in her room, put on a red shirt and a pair of jeans and when she came back in the living room, she found her unexpected guest writing on a small piece of paper.
As if she knew what Di was about to ask, she said: "I have this thing I have to write my ideas as soon as I get the inspiration for a new song"
"Did my house inspire you?"
"No, not the house...that wine stained dress you left on the couch. But, it was just an idea, I don't even know what the song is going to be about."
Dianna was going to ask if she could read what Taylor just wrote, but then their phones both ringed at the same time.
"Funny"
It was a text from Ashley Avignone, an old friend of Dianna.
"Hey girl, as you know next week it'll be my birthday, so I wanted to invite you and some other friends at my place just to have a nice time. It'll be on April 4th. You in? xoxo"
Dianna typed a fast "yes" and added an emoji. As if it was rude, she told Taylor "I'm sorry, it was just an old friend of mine who invited me to her birthday party!"
Taylor was still typing on her phone as she said, with her soft, angelic voice "don't worry" then she put her phone back in her pocket and: "now, back to our date..."
"Wait...is this a date?"
"Well, I assumed...since we were going to be alone...at dinner...but maybe you're not into gir..."
"No! No! It's not about that, I mean...I didn't even know you were into girls..."
"I'm not! I mean...I don't...it's just...oh my god this is so embarrassing, I made a mistake" Taylor said as she stood up and walked to the door.
"No wait, I didn't mean I don't like you"
FUCK, WHAT DID SHE JUST SAID?
"You...like me?"
"Do you?"
"I mean...I'm dating a guy, but I feel awkward when I'm with you. I really appreciated reading what you said about me on that interview; I'm used to be liked or hated, my fans buy my albums and they always ask me to take a picture when they meet me on the streets, but they never think there are celebrities I like too. I've been a huge fan of your show since the beginning and especially of your character."
Dianna was listening to those words completely captured.
"I'm sorry, I'm sounding awkward now. I understand, I didn't want to embarrass you. It's just, I'm confused. When I read what you think about me I said to myself  "Damn, this is now or never. She seems nice and she likes me, why not call her?" But I rushed into this thing, I didn't think about the consequences and about you."
Di was shocked: that girl was a stranger  to her, they spoke like twice and now she was in front of her, in her house, telling her about how much she wanted to meet her. Not that she minded, but that was really an akward thing.
"Please say something"
"It's just, I'm pleased, really. But I'm also a little embarrassed, I don't know what to say...I mean, I'm a fan of yours and I think you're really pretty [damn, why did she keep saying things like that?] ...but...I don't know you. "
"I see"
After a few seconds of silence, Dianna said:  "But this doesn't mean I don't want to".
