A/N - it is 11:11 in the night but here is the latest chapter of the Puppeteer, which is just an edited version of the original with a better writing style and improvements to the grammar and spelling and such things. Anyway enjoy!
Adrien's POV
I stood over my sister as she laid down sleeping peacefully in her bed. School had been cancelled due to the recent Akuma attack so I had stayed home looking after her. When is she going to wake up? While waiting, I took a moment to think back on the recent events. After Jester had fallen down she soon passed out. I had taken her bow and given it to Ladybug and she ripped it in two and the Akuma fluttered out. The strange thing was that instead of trying to escape and Akumatize someone else it fluttered closer to her and landed on her cheek. That's when Jester had de-transformed into Ari before Ladybug could purify the Akuma. That's when I left. I grabbed Ari and brought her back here and laid her down. I de-transformed in the room since she was out could and now here I am, checking up on her once again. I wonder when... I was brought back to reality when I heard soft mumbling.
"N-No" Ari mumbled twisting and turning. I reacted immediately shaking her awake.
"Ari. It's just a dream. Calm down" I told her and she slowly calmed down and opened her eyes. Once she saw me she pushed me away and laid back down. I knew she wasn't still mad at me she just doesn't like help from other people.
"A-Adrien?" She mumbled looking confused before a look of realisation crossed over her face. "Oh right. Hey Adrien. I've never noticed your ring before, where did you get it?" She asked and I started to panic. I couldn't tell her that I'm Chat noir so what do I do?
"It was a- a gift" I lied but Ari didn't look convinced.
"From?" She asked her eyes narrowing and I stayed silent and she sat up and looked at me. "You're a terrible liar" She told me.
Arianna's POV
I pushed myself up and looked at Adrien.
"You know what I don't care. I'll find out one way or another" I told him and I swore I heard him sigh with relief. "By the way. Where were you?" I asked and Adrien looked confused. "When I was Jester having fun" I continued and Adrien looked more confused.
"Y-You remember?" He asked slightly shocked. Why is he- oh right, most people don't remember the Akuma, I'm just different I guess.
"Yeah" I started but stopped speaking when I started feel extremely dizzy. I reached for the closest thing to steady myself which just happened to be Adrien and he looked at me with concern in his eyes while he held onto me. I still felt dizzy but I was also embarrassed that I had to lean on Adrien so I pushed him away and attempted to steady myself. Key word, attempted. The dizziness grew worse and my head started to pound and the room started to spin so much I felt sick. Adrien must have noticed since he gently laid me back down and I didn't have the energy to stop him. He reached over and turned on my music box and I let a small smile come onto my face as I closed my eyes. I heard Adrien get up and start to walk away but the music was slowly making me fall asleep until I just let it and fell in a soon to be nightmare filled sleep.
(Time skip)
Despite the fact that I was once again on the floor, I felt refreshed and my headache was gone. I yawned and stretched before checking the time. 8:20. Oh ok- WAIT WHAT! 8:20 I HAVE TEN MINUTES UNTIL SCHOOL STARTS! I walked over to my closet frantically searching for something to wear. After around 5 minutes I gave up and decided that if I was late then oh well. I pulled out multiple outfit choices until I settled on this one.
