???: You're having a great dream, aren't you Chisato? ...It's alright, you can stay here and... you can remain a child in my world. There are a lot of friends here and I'm sure you'll make some eventually.

???: Sleep well... Good night...

???: We need to go, Larva and Shiina. The strays are waiting for us.

A shinma is a supernatural being that devours the hearts of men... and leads them into ruin. Long ago, thousands—millions of them were sealed in the Dark World. However, there are many strays that lived secretly in the human world as they lurk in the division between night and day. The Guardian who sends the strays back into the darkness... is the beautiful vampire Miyu. No one knows her true face.

???: Don't you think it's too much? 

                 The man embraced the girl behind and nuzzle his face on to left her shoulder to her neck, hoping to ease her mind a bit. The man wore a long red cloak and has a white half side mask on his right, revealing that his left eye is sapphire. The girl wore a heavy blue kimono decorated with white flowers with a red obi tied around her waist and has gold pale eyes, holding a white hairpin that was drenched in blood. 

???: ....It's not enough. *sighs* They even got my hairpin all dirty. 

???: That is not the case here. 

???: What should we do? With these amount of bodies, who knew what could happen. 

                    A cute, innocent white cat-like creature with yellow eyes looked at the girl with concern look. In front of them were human bodies that were bitten, stabbed, and overall, wounded. The girl giggled and respond to the creature's question. 

???: They're just mere corpses. Don't worry about it. 

???: Geez... You said that as if it's easy to escape this sort of thing. 

???: These people are very bad, after all. Don't you think the bad deserved to be punished? 

???: Well... yeah, but still. 

                    The girl brought her hairpin closer to her mouth and licked the last remaining blood as her golden pale eyes glow. The blood smeared her lips and stained her kimono, but she didn't mind at all as she loosens a bit. The man lets go of the embrace and the girl turned around, looking at him deeply in a loving way. She removed his right side mask, revealing his right sapphire eye and caresses his cheek. 

???: Really? Are you two really going to make out here? *sighs* I'm outta here. Call me when you need me. 

                     The cat-like creature walked away and disappeared into the forest, leaving the two be. The girl then uncovered the hood of the man's red cloak, revealing his long silver hair. She put her arms around his neck and kissed him gently yet passionately. He respond her back with the same about of affection as they part their lips from each other. 

???: Are you sure you want this? Aren't you not afraid that someone might see us? 

???: (grins) Let them. I am yours and you are mine. We love each other and that's what matter the most. 

???: How can you be so sure? What if--- 

                          The girl stopped the man's words with her finger and lend in closer to his face, pecking his lips causing him to widen his eyes in response. 

???: Don't say it... Don't you ever leave me. I couldn't even bare a life without you. 

???: ......... 

???: That's why, I'm giving my all. My everything to you. I am willing to sacrifice anything just for your sake only. If this is the only option to help you live, then I'm willing to do it. 

???: Miyo... 

???: Lava... Hey, come closer. I... want to feel you. 

???: Yeah, me too. I won't let go. 

???: Promise me that you'll stay with me till the end of time? 

???: I promise. 

???: Lava... I love you. 

???: Same here. I love you as well, Miyo...
