Steph

He held out his hand for me. I took it. He was surprisingly warm and soft.
We walked down the hallway towards the elevator in silence.
We're on the 51st floor. The top floor. Wow. I figure it will take a while to reach the ground so I start thinking.
How to escape. How to get away. How to survive. I obviously can't escape right now. This stupid collar is preventing that. I couldn't run if i wanted anyway. These shoes keep me at a nice walking pace. He probably thought of that and did it on purpose.
I doubt scissors could cut through this. Only he can take it off. So I have to get him to trust me.
And in order to do that I have to.. behave.. do everything he says. Act the way he wants me to.
Trust.
I suddenly feel him staring at me. I turn to face him and to say something but the doors open and he puts his hand on the small of my back, we walk out together. We're in a very classy hotel. I can't see the name anywhere, but the people all look rich and snobby. I don't pay attention to them though. I'm trying to learn about the undecipherable man next to me. Everyone else is boring.
He opens the back door to a black Mercedes for me, and gets in after me.

Loki tells the driver something and we're on our way. I look out the window on my side with wonder, while Loki stares at me.

The city was beautiful. We passed so many parks and museums, tall buildings everywhere. So many people, walking and on bikes, it's a brand new place. I love it.
We're passing so many amazing things, I forget who I'm with and see something. I tell him to come look at he does, he smiles and says it's beautiful. Then I cross the seat and lean over him to look out his window too. He smiles and looks out with me.
I sit back in my seat and look out my window again.

I look over to him. He's looking at me already. He has beautiful green eyes.

He smiles, and puts his hand on my thigh, then looks out the window.
"We'll be there soon."

I smile at him and try to ignore my empty stomach until we get there.

The car stops a few minutes later and Loki and I step out. The car drives away as soon as he closed the door. He leads me inside, and immediately we are greeted by a beautiful young hostess. He thanks her, and she leads us to a nice table near the back.
I sit first, and he across from me, but Loki keeps starting at the hostess and ignoring me. I know I shouldn't care, I shouldn't be frustrated, but I am and I hate it. After she leaves his eyes longer at her form walking away, and then turns to face me smiling.

He did that on purpose.

"Oooh, jealous, are we?" He says while smirking.

I pick up my menu and hide behind it, embarrassed now that I fell for such a thing.

He chuckles and looks at his menu as well.
Soon our waitress comes by and decide to not even pay attention. Completely absorbed by the menu, not gonna notice how they're flirting and laughing. Nope.
He orders a bottle of wine, and finally she leaves.

"That was rather rude, don't you think sweetie?" He says softly.

I put the menu down and glare him.
He pretends to shiver and then laughs. I crack a tiny smile and look down.
"Yeah. Sorry." Although some people might think kidnapping someone and keeping them in a collaris a tiny bit rude too.

"Now, now. You said yourself you wanted to come out. You want to behave so you can 'figure me out'. No need to be sassy. Although, I think I'm starting to like that quality in you."

I forgot he could see in my mind. I forgot. How could I forget, that's so important.
Calm down.

"I'm sorry. But really, is it necessary to flirt with everyone? I'll try to tone it down if you do, okay?"
I try to say it as politely as possible. I don't want to be on his bad side.
