"You... I- What?" It would not have taken a genius to figure he was shocked. HIs wide eyes, furrowed brows, and slightly parted lips gave it all away- though his expression was a little overdone, as if he had seen a ghost. She would have almost laughed- he looked petrified to say the least- but reminded herself that she had no time.

"Please. I'm begging you." She emphasized these words, grabbing onto his arm, which, to her surprise, was muscular.

"Why should I do that?" The man asked, obviously struggling to get out of the girl's grasp. But her grip was unexpectedly strong, and when she noticed the pain she was inflicting, she quickly loosened her grasp.

The girl hesitated for a moment, biting on her flakey lip as if debating on what the duty of return would best be. Out of the corner of her eye, she caught the man studying her carefully- first the face, then the body. It disgusted her to know how all men alive seemed to be exact replicas of each other, action-wise.

Right away, she reminded herself that any pervert would be better than going back THERE, and recalled the terrifying times when He held her hostage. Wincing at even the thought, she finally managed to come to a decision that contented her.

"I'll do anything you want me to do, for the next month." She hated sounding so desperate, but took in the fact that it was the only word to succeed in fully expressing what she was- depserate.

"Anything?" The man replied almost instantly, raising an eyebrow as if he didn't believe her.

"Mostly anything." She quickly fixed her error and hoped it would be her lucky day where the first man would catch on and buy the deal.

"Fine. I will." To a girl always expecting the worst out of every situation, this was an incredibly happy, shocking moment. Her eyes were proof, for they sparkled with thankfulness and joy.

"Thank you! Thank you!... a lot. You really don't realize how much this means to me."

"Whatever. Your part of the deal is still present. I'm not going to go easy on you." And he smirked. HIs smirk, though it sounded too cliched, was breathtakingly beautiful. It simply made an addition to his handsomeness. But what bothered her the most, was the comment he made in response to her thank you. She opened her mouth to speak, but was interrupted.

"I'm Alex. The deal starts today right? You're going to follow me and I'll tell you some stuff do. I'm not doing anything today so I'll be at home making sure you do your jobs correctly. If you don't get it right, it's over." He coldly spat out, once again making her heart thump of nervousness.

She nodded several times to show Alex she understood, and trailed along like his puppy, following right behind him because she was afraid of losing the way. On her walk to Alex's house though, there were many questions lingering in her mind. Such as to why he didn't ask for her name, or why he didn't ask her the details behind this deal.

'Oh well', she though. 'He's going to pretend to love me, and I do anything I can do for him. Good enough.'

But that's where she was wrong. It wasn't in fact, good enough.
