So today was the day that i finally got to learn about Shakespeare. Fun Right? wrong! From what I have heard is that Romeo & Juliet is the most boring book you will ever read.
Let's start off with the basic. So firstly There is Romeo and Juliet. They were suppose to be sworn enemies but one day when Romeo and his friend snuck into a mask party Romeo met Juliet. Apparently it was Love at first sight, then they dance, kissed and all that. When it was time to leave they both realized that they were supposedly sworn enemies but that did not stop their love.
The next day Romeo married Juliet in secret and no one else knew except the priest and the nurse. After that some big fight happened between Romeo, His Best Friend and Juliet;s cousin that lead Romeo to be banished. Once Romeo was banished Juliet was suppose to marry someone but instead since she was already married to Romeo she decided to fake her death.
There was suppose to be a letter sent to Romeo telling him that Juliet was not actually dead and just drank some sleeping potion but the message never got to him. So he went to her graveyard confessed his love the drank poison.
Not soon after Juliet wakes up and see's that Romeo is dead so she takes her life by a sword. Then the both family's decided to love in peace. THE END.
NOW do you see where I'm coming from? These people are weird and to top it all of we have to read the script wish is written in old English fashion. Hopefully I enjoy this book as much as people say or I will just be pissed.
