Dear Diary
Well today has been an eventful day. Firstly with the police turning up at my door saying I have to attend school because "apparently" it's illegal for a girl of my age to not be in school. Well I'm not a girl I'm a vampire and I refuse to except these rules made by some lower beings. You may think why don't I just compel him away well that's easier said then done. Seeing as my parents force feed me to drink animal blood which doesn't allow us to stem to the full power of our abilities. My mother won't let me anywhere near human blood she says... it could change me... one drop of human blood could make me an entire new person, a person numb to world, a person without care. A lethal weapon. That's why we're the way we are you could call us the vegans of the vampire community.
You see my parents never wanted to become vampires they didn't have a choice... well my mum didn't anyway. Unfortunately my mother died jurying childbirth but the thing is we didn't know that she had died with my blood in her system. So the next thing you know my mum wakes up 6ft deep underground clawing her way to the surface. People would say I'm a curse, miracle or even the child of satan. I guess my name fits Lucy short for Lucifer. Born vampire mother human, father vampire. I stopped ageing when I got to seventeen forever seventeen. But with my mother being human I get an added bonus of being able to walk in the daylight without going up in flames so that's a plus. Well I hope that cleared a few things up for you. My mum walked in. "So school huh" I said.
"Yes I think it would be a good opportunity for you to try and fit in with the human world" my mother said with a look of hope in her eyes.
"But I'm not human am I!? I will never fit in and I don't want to, I am nothing like them" I scowled.
"Well you will be starting in 2 weeks weather you like it or not!" She said stubbornly. She abruptly left my room the worst part is she didn't even close the god dam door! Ugghh I hate it when people do that.
Well it looks like my fate is set then I will be going to school whether I like it or not. I don't really know much about school... well have I've seen Mean Girls not that I think that really counts. I've never been to school before but so far I do not like the sound of it...
