I feel like Jon, when he came back as a ghost, came back to their house cuz why not. Edwardo felt really bad for treating him awful and he'd always try to act extra nice to him, but Jon, behind the sweet heart he is, forgave Edwardo. Over time, Edwardo stopped being extra nice to just nice and a good friend.
