*** Angel's POV***

I looked down at my phone and it read 4:15. What are we going to do for two and a half hours? At the mall? I hated the mall. But, Robyn will be the first person I've ever hanged out with outside of school. I was actually kind of excited.

I liked Robyn, we were like two sides of the same coin. We never really talked to each other much, but we always had a mutual respect one another. Before last night, I thought I was going crazy. Leigh was never my friend, in fact, one might say she hated me.

Back in sixth grade, Leigh and I got into a fight. Not a little fight, we were actually trying to hurt each other severely. I have no idea why Robyn wasn't there that day, it was years ago. I was sitting on the swings and Leigh, along with some other girl, came up to me demanding my swing because there wasn't enough for them. Can you believe that? Me, being who I am, said 'or what?' Next thing I knew we were on the ground tumbling with each other. She thought because she was taller than me she was going to win. HA. I have a dad who knows karate, I could take care of myself. To make a long story short, one of us left with a broken nose while the other left with a broken nail. I was the one with broken nail just incase you missed that.

I saw a Mini Fiat Cooper pull up in my yard and Robyn honked her horn.

Nice car.

I walked outside and waved at her. Running over to the car ,she unlocked the door and I slide in.

"Hey, girl." I said happily as I reach in for a side hug.

"Hey." She said, hugging me back. "I know we have a couple of hours until dinner so is the mall okay?"

"Oh, yeah sure. I can't remember the last time I went to the mall."

"Me either." She laughed as she pulled out of my driveway.

The ride to the mall was nice. I felt like I could tell Robyn anything about myself and she could tell me anything too. She was nothing like Leigh. Leigh was mean to me, Leigh was pretty much mean to everyone. I guess opposites really do attract because they're NOTHING alike.

Robyn pulled up to the mall and get out of her car. She hit the lock button twice as we made our way in JCPenny.

"Which store do you want to go to first?" I asked.

"I was thinking Cinnabon Deli. I'm hungry."

"We're going to eat in a few hours."

"I know that, but my stomach doesn't know that." Robyn laughed.

I laughed along with her then we headed up the escalator, towards the food court. Once we mae it off of the escalator we both practically jogged towards the food court. As we made our way over there, I saw Micah and Lukas coming towards us. Lukas was so cute. He was smart and his smile could melt a popsicle in Antartica during January. I was not even exaggerating. I've liked him for two years. We had geometry together and he was my partner in class all year. If it wasn't for him sliding his paper to the edge of his desk on every test so I could cheat, I would have failed.

"Hey, Angel." He smiled. "What's up, Robyn?"

"Um, hello?" She pointed toward the food court. "Can't you see we're on our way to food?"

Micah and Lukas laughed and began to walk with us.

"I'm really sorry about your boss, Robyn." Micah said.

I smiled to myself. I totally ship this. The independent introvert and the high school quarterback. Micah has been crushing on Robyn for so long, it's a little sad. Everyone in the whole school new that Micah had a crush on Robyn. Last school year he would always try to get other people to find out if Robyn was coming to the football games. She never did, and he never asked her out. But this year, I think that he will. It was only a matter of time before they'd date, I just knew it.
