Chapter 4: Explanations

Sly's P.O.V

Jess just blacked out in the middle of explaining. The rest of the Few are holding the guards upstairs, as I go get the Mjolnir because other than Jess I'm the only other one that can hold it, because Jess is my girlfriend. I grab Mjolnir and quickly fly back to Phoenix Drop and to Jess' house. I see the Few surrounding Jess and I hear loud banging from upstairs. I hang the hammer over Jess's stomach and just as I was about to help her the guards burst through the door. The Few held them back as I help Jess. The lightning went off and the guards screamed "No!" The Few did nothing as we already knew what was gonna happen. Jess then wakes up panting and crying. We all hug her and not long after we hear a scream, it came from Jose. The guard named Dante, I believe, had stabbed him in the stomach. Jess screamed as we were stabbed by the guards with their swords and an elf girl held Jess back from reaching us, so she couldn't use her powers. (In this Irene is her mom, so she has her powers) All I could hear as I pass out was Jess crying. The sounds were getting faintly softer.

Laurence's P.O.V

"I don't trust any of those new people." I tell Garroth

Aph's P.O.V

I see my friends getting stabbed by my guards and start trying to walk over to them or reach out to one of them but Zoey holds me back before I reach any of them. I start crying as Laurence drags me to my room and closes the door. I continue crying as I hear them lock the door making it so I can't get out.

Garroth's P.O.V

As Laurence locks Lady Aphmau in her room, we hear her crying. Me, Laurence, and Dante drag/carry Lady Aphmau's 'friends' to the jail. Laurence says that the one named Alex is a shadowknight and the ones named Sly and Jose are Red rings. I don't trust any of them. We will have to keep an eye on them.
