The story of Allison and Tyler

Allison, born small and ill, had Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia. She wasn’t expected to survive three weeks after birth but she is living happily at age 13 with her two sisters and mother. Allison has always been really good at art. Whether it be drawing or music, Allison was really good at it. She sang for her school’s choir and her church. In choir Allison was lead vocal, she would sing solos and duets with almost anyone. As Allison got into high school her Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia worsened. She began to visit the doctors week after week and was eventually taken out of school in order for them to continue chemo therapy. In high school Allison had many friends and a crush. The boy Allison had a crush on was named Tyler. Tyler knew Alison had a crush on him and he liked her back. A few weeks after Allison was taken out of school, Allison’s mother received a facebook message from Tyler’s mom, inviting her over for dinner. Allison’s mother asked Allison if she wanted to go and Allison responded with a smile and nod. Allison ran up the stairs of her house, opened her bedroom door, ran in and opened her closet. Allison looked through all of her clothes trying to pick out her best outfit until she stopped and realized that she had the perfect outfit. So she ran to one of her sister’s room and asked if she could borrow one of her short blue dresses. Allison’s sister looked in her closet and found the short blue dress. Allison’s sister handed her the dress and Allison ran back to her room and put it on. As Allison was about to leave her room to go back downstairs she remembered something that Tyler had gave her back in elementary school. She ran over to her jewelry box and grabbed an emerald necklace out and she put it on. Allison ran downstairs and told her mother to hurry up and that she was ready to go. As Allison and her mother were on their way to Tyler’s house Allison became nervous. When they arrived Tyler and his mother were outside waiting happily. Allison got out of the car and Tyler came to her and greeted her with a smile on his face and his face as pink as cherry blossom. Allison, Tyler and their parents went inside and Tyler begins to ask Allison a bunch of questions on how she was feeling and if she needed anything. Allison shook her head no and smiled. Tyler’s mother tells Tyler and Allison that dinner will be ready in 20 minutes and that they could go outside for a walk to catch up. Tyler and Allison look at each other and they walk outside. As Tyler and Allison were walking alongside the road Tyler pointed to a park and said” You wanna go sit under that tree?” Allison nodded and they walked over to the tree in the park and they sat under the tree. ”Oh you are wearing the necklace I gave you in elementary school. I didn’t think you would keep it.” Tyler said laughing. Allison looked at Tyler and said,” Why wouldn’t I keep it. It’s so pretty and it means a lot to me.” Tyler smiled and said,” Hay, Allison, D-Do you wanna go out with me. I know that is a lot to ask but I have liked you since I met you. I’ve just never had the guts to tell you. ”Allison cheeks turned pink and she nodded “Oh my goodness I’ve felt the same about you.” Allison and Tyler talked for about 20 minutes until Tyler got a text from his mother saying that dinner was ready. So Tyler and Allison headed back, at dinner and before Allison and her mother to left Tyler gave Allison a kiss on the cheek. Eight months past and Allison and Tyler hung out a few times. Allison’s condition was getting worse day by day, but she tried to ignore it because she didn’t want Tyler to have to worry about her. As Allison went to her regular doctor’s appointment the doctors were doing a check up on her condition and found out that Allison’s Leukemia had gotten so bad that it was now out of the doctors hands and that there was nothing they could do to keep her alive for much longer. Allison’s mother was devastated. Allison only had a few more weeks to live and Allison decided that all she wanted to do was hang out with her family and Tyler for the remainder of her life. A week had past by and Allison did as she wanted. She spent her time with her mother and sisters and even Tyler. Allison decided to go to Tyler’s house and as Tyler and Allison were together with Tyler’s mother Allison told Tyler she wasn’t feeling well. Allison got up to go to the bathroom but before she reached the bathroom she collapsed. Tyler ran to Allison screaming for his mother to call an ambulance. Allison was soon rushed to the emergency room. Allison’s body was quickly shutting down and Tyler, his mother and Allison’s family had to say their last goodbye’s. Tyler was the last to say goodbye to Allison. Tyler walked up to Allison who was laying in a hospital bed, Tyler put his hand on her hand and Allison smiled.” Tyler, you have always been there for me I’m sorry I have to leave you.” Allison said with tears rolling down her face. “Allison I love you. You will never leave me. You will always be here in my heart. You will constantly be on my mind.” Tyler said as he kissed Allison’s forehead. As soon as Tyler kissed Allison’s forehead Allison passed. Tyler heard Allison say that she loved him right before she passed. Tyler looked at his hand and noticed that her hand was still tightly intertwined with his
