The walk to the principal office was quiet; the security guard was staring at me like a stalker. Because you see I normally don’t lose my cool, I’m a hyper happy, crazy, random person all the time, but don’t get me wrong I do get into arguments with teachers and other students intensively. I’m not always violent I just sometimes get violent. As I walked thru the office door the secretary looked bewildered to see me. “My god Mystic what have you done now?” The secretary said. “I just seemed to lose my cool for a moment nothing that exciting, although the Nathan is unconsusnes.” I said like it was a normal thing to me. “Well the principal is in his office now; he will be shocked to see you in his office again for the third time this week” the Secretary said. I walked thru the principal office door. I walked in smoothly and shut the door, walked calmly as possible to the seat and sat down, and waited for the principal to start talking. “Mystic!” the principal Mr.Kelly said sounding shock. “Hi Mr.Kelly!” I said smiling. “Why” Mr.Kelly said with a bored tone. Ugh I guess he got used to me too. “Well Nathan was bulling my cousin Michael; you know how Michael is like 4’9, and how Nathan is 6’4. Nathan was getting ready to punch him in the face, so I interfered and now he is unconsensus. Now I am here talking to you telling you the story.” I said calmly without breaking eye contact. “Well since my wife Mrs. Kelly says you’re a good student, one of her favorites, this the third time this week your lucky I’m used to seeing you in my office a lot, and since you passing all your class you’re free to go.” Mr.Kelly said. I looked at him with a sincere smile. “Thank you Mr.Kelly, trust me this won’t happen again if it isn’t necessary.” I said. I got up and walked out the office. I see that 6th period is almost done, but I still walked towards the classroom. I realized that I didn’t see Michael after the fight to ask him if he is alright. I walked into the classroom, Ms.Harris looked at me and was going to go back to teaching, but then someone saw it was me that walked thru the door and started cheering. “Dang Mystic I aint know you was ‘bout that.” Someone said. “So you ‘bumpin naw” I looked at the class like is they serious. One girl named Ashley she barley talks. “Mystic what you did was a good thing to defend your cousins rights.” Ashley said looking at me with new found respect. Ashley was a sexy ass Puerto Rican stood at 5’4, long wavy brown hair that stopped at her waist, Brown eyes; she was wearing black skinny jeans, a one shoulder green top, and green classic pumps, her golden skin complemented her brown eyes, she was wearing gold hoop earrings and 6 gold bracelets on each arm. Everyone in this school always tries to get with her but she just ignores them. She always been the quiet type preferred her own company more than others. “Thank you Ashley, I was doing my best to protect him, it wasn’t a fair fight. Besides Michael never really been a fighter.” I said. Ashley smiled at me, I smiled back. ‘I wonder if there’s a possibility that she likes me, I tried to talk to her one time she ignored me so I laughed and turned around, started talking to Quantavuis.’ I thought to myself. Ms.Harris was just letting us have a free time since I walked in, only 45 minutes’ of class left anyway. “Mystic you know you really impressed me with what you did for your cousin, most people don’t have the courage to do what you did.” Ashley said with a look of wonder in her eyes. “Well it is what it is; Nathan was too big for Michael. I told Nathan if I catch him bullying my cousin he gone to have deal with me.” I said. I looked at Ashley and saw she was staring at intensively, when she saw I caught her staring at me she blushed. I smiled at her blushing, “Hey Ashley would you like to hang out with me after school? Maybe just chill in my room watching TV, getting to know one of another.” I said, Ashley looked as if she was thinking hard when she furred her eyebrows together. “Sure I love that, isn’t Quantavuis going to be there?” Ashley asked. “He always is, I swear it’s like he lives with me, I consider him my brother, my parents consider him as their own child too.” I said smiling. Ashley smiled back at me “I’ll see you after school in the parking lot” Ashley smiled as the bell ringed. I realized that I didn’t have my bag with me, I exited the classroom head to lunch, when I got to the lunch room I grabbed 5 slices of triple cheese pizza, a bottle of strawberry kiwi soda, an apple, 3 chocolate chip cookies. I paid 5.75$ for my lunch and walked to my usual table outside, where I saw Quantavuis, Michael, and what surprised me was that Ashley was there. I walked over to the table “What’s up, lil bro, cuzo, Ashley.” They all looked me and gave a greeting. Quantavuis looked at Ashley then looked me and winked “Quantavuis what’s wrong with your eye” I said looking at him like he was a stranger, Quantavuis rolled his eyes at me and turned around. I set my tray on the table, and saw no one had their food “Were yall food at? I asked looking at them suspiciously. “Our food is on your tray” Michael said. Ugh! I should’ve seen this coming. “Fine! Oh Michael is you okay? I didn’t get to see you after the fight.” I said looking him in the face, checking for a bruise. “I’m fine thanks Mystic, but I think I need to learn to stand up for myself” Michael said. I looked at him like he grew a second head! “Michael it wasn’t going to be a fair fight!” I said. “I think you should exercise a little bit, you have muscle’s no offense, but you very short to be 14, so extra strength will make up for your size.” Quantavuis said. “You know but there is nothing wrong with having someone protecting you, everyone needs help every once and then.” Ashley said looking at all of us. I pushed the tray in the middle and every one grabbed a slice of pizza. “You know guys I can’t believe you guys made ME pay for lunch, I didn’t even volunteer.” I said pouting. “Oh mystic you is mentally disturbed I never met anyone that acts you” Michael said trying to look serious. “Of course baby that’s ‘cause you never seen some one as great as me! Like hello my name is Mystic Nyght I was born different.” I said grinning in my devilish tone. “Something is really wrong with you, like you have a dark purple Camaro, black leather seats, surprisingly 4 of them, but you didn’t take your car to school, you grabbed 2 slices of pizza, took two cookies so go buy some more please” Quantavuis said I looked at him and shouted “NO”. Ashley, Quantavuis, and Michael busted out laughing. It wasn’t that funny what is wrong with people laughing at me like that. “I never knew you had a car, I would like to see it” Ashley said. Ha! She wants to see my car. “Mystic you mentally disturbed, stop looking like that with that looks in your eyes” Michael said taking a sip of my juice. “Excuse me that is my kiwi strawberry juice I paid for, and what crazy look” I said making my eyes shake with a devilish smile. Quantavuis started laughing with Ashley, and then he took my wallet out my back pocket “AHH! THIEF SOMEONE CALL THE POLICE! HELP!” I shouted chasing after Quantavuis, when I finally got my wallet back it was empty. “Why the hell would you buy 20$ worth of chocolate chip cookies” I asked looking at him like he crazy, now I’m not angry but I’m the one that’s supposed to do something crazy like that. “I guess you’re rubbing off on me.” Quantavuis said, ugh what a copy cat! “I don’t care you’re sharing them damn cookies! With all of us” I said. As we reached the table Quantavuis gave us 5 cookies each. “You know Quantavuis you owe me 20$ for cookies” I said. “So Mystic what did the principal say about you knocking Nathan unconsusnes?” Michael asked? “Well Mr.Kelly let me off easily. Cause you know I’m always in his office for doing or saying something crazy.” I said sounding confused. Ashley looked at me and smiled, I smiled back. “Why are you two smiling like your love birds?” Quantavuis asked. Way to ruin the moment Quan! I swear I am rubbing some of my craziness on him. “All I did was smile at Mystic, and he smiled back Quantavuis you just over thinking it” Ashley said. “Well if he over thinking it, I must be under thinking it cause that’s not what friends do.” I gave Michael a look that said ‘Shut your mouth or I will stuff it with cheese’. “What mystic, don’t look at me like that I’m just saying.” Michael said. Ashley and Quantavuis started laughing at how I was looking. I cocked my head to the side “What’s so funny?” I asked in my white girl voice. Michael spit out some of his pizza and started laughing with Ashley, and Quantavuis. I just smiled and took a bite of my pizza. “Damn that was funny Mystic. So what we doing after school” Quantavuis said. “Well Ashley’s coming over; we’ll hang out for a while then go driving around.” I said. Quantavuis looked at me then at Ashley. “You know Mystic I going to help Michael work out, so it looks like it’ll just be you and Ashley.” Quantavuis said with a smirk. I looked at Ashley and saw her blushing; she looked at me and smiled back. “Okay well I guess it’s just you and me” I said winking at Ashley. Ashley turned her head and blushed. “That sounds nice” Ashley mumbled. “RIIIIINNNNGGGG” the sound of the bell came signaling lunch was over. Quantavuis handed me my book bag, as Michael went to dump the garbage, I headed to 8th period; physical education is always a fun class. I don’t think our P.E teacher is normal he have us do weird stuff, he’ll spilt us into 10 teams with 6 people each to capture the 6 flags of our color, and the other team can take your flag so sometimes you have to fight to get it back. We can only use hand-to-hand combat. As I reached the locker rooms I took of my clothes, put on my black gym shorts, a white tank top, and my black air force Nikes. I walked out to the field since I know that’s where Coach always is. “Okay Class today is gone to be a capture the flag day, you all know the rules now please listen while I break you into groups. “Team 10 Mystic, Quantavuis, Jakiara, Natasha, Willie, La’quanda, your color is purple” coach said. “On Your Marks Get Set GO!” Coach said. All the teams went into the forest. “Everybody spilt up; we’ll work faster like that.” I shouted as I ranned into the deeper part of the forest. As I was running I saw a purple flag hanging in a tall tree along with a white flag. I ranned and kicked off the tree and grabbed the closet branch, and lifted myself up. I balance myself on the branch and grabbed the next one; I repeated this for like 10 times. When I finally reached the purple flag I grabbed it, then this boy ranned out. “Finally I hope this is the last flag.” The boy I think name is Jasper said. I heard my walkie talkie buzz “Come in Mystic we have 5 flags do you have sight of the last flag” Jakiara said. “Team Purple I have the last flag head to center and wait, something came up.” As I put my walkie talkie away I saw the whole team white showed up. “Is this your flag?” I asked with a smirk on my face. “Yeah how ‘bout you be nice and give it to us.” Jasper said. “No problem” I said as I grabbed their flag. I ranned on the branch jumped hit a back flip and landed on my knee, I turned around and smirked. “Come and get it” I said as I started running, I don’t think anyone can catch up with me, I actually run to fast. As I was running I heard Jasper shout “Give that back you cheater!”. Next thing I know I was tackled to the ground, I rolled away from jasper and jumped up with the quickness. Jasper stood up dusted himself off and kicked his left leg out, I blocked it and trip him, he did a back flip and punched me in the face, I stumbled back a few paces. Jasper grinned at me, “I thought you were a strong fighter” jasper said. “You aint see nothing yet” I said, I ranned at him and did a round house kick in his face, he flew back a few feet. He got up and charged at me I used his momentum and shoulder checked him, Jasper landed on his ass. “Ha! I just tossed you on your ass” I kicked jasper in his temple, not hard enough for him to pass out just enough for him to be dizzy for a while. The rest of the white team was running towards me. I was running for 10 minutes straight when the clearing appeared, I pushed myself to run faster, when I made to the clearing my team was shouting me to run faster. “I GOT YOU NOW MYSTIC” jasper yelled out as he ran straight at me and we fell back, I flipped him off me, jasper did a high kick and got me in the chin, he tried to do a round house kick but I docked grabbed his leg and slammed him on the ground and heard the other teams go “OOOOO” I ranned towards my team quickly. “Purple Team Wins” coach shouted then blew his whistle. Me and my team cheered at our victory, as I walked towards the locker room people was congratulating me on winning the last flag again. As I took a shower I went to my locker grabbed my bag put back on my clothes, the bell ringed. I walked into the parking lot grabbing my car keys. Damn! I didn’t take my car! I was pissed off, I should’ve used my car but no I was being lazy and made Tracey take me. I saw Ashley approaching me. I smiled and walked towards her. “Hey Ashley, you ready to go?” I asked. She just nodded her head with a smile on her face. I grabbed her hand and we started walking to my house. “Ashley my parents aren’t going to be home, and I don’t want to make you feel uncomfortable, I can walk you home instead.” I said looking her deep in her eyes. “It’s okay Mystic, I trust you enough to be around you alone” Ashley said then kissed my check. I gave her one of my signature smirk’s that said ‘I like you’. We continued walking in silence towards my house. When we reached my drive-way Ashley looked excited. “Oh My Gosh is that your car! Can you drive us to the park?” Ashley asked me in a happy and cheery voice. “Sure get in.” I answered her. I put my key into the ignition, looked in the rear view mirror and backed out my drive-way. “This is an awesome car Mystic, I’m feeling it, this shit is nice. Leather interior, dark purple color, gold 24’ rims.” Ashley said grinning. “Thank you, my mom brought this for me last year, when I got my drivers permit. I just designed it the way I always would.” I said grinning at her. I stopped at the red light. Ashley turned on my cd player and started looking thru my cd albums. “Do you have Nicki Minaj-Roman In Moscow” Ashley asked, still looking thru my cd albums. “Yeah it’s in the CD player, press play and skip to number 5.” When Ashley flipped to number 5, she started bobbing her head and lip singing, dancing in the seat. I was trying not to laugh, as I was driving. I saw McDonalds and drove to the drive thru. “Welcome to McDonald’s, may I take your order” the lady said in the intercom. I turned the music down. “Yeah can I have a number 1, large fry’s, and a large coke.” I said looking at the menu board. “Will there be anything else sir?” the lady on the intercom asked. “Ashley do you want anything?” I asked her, she shook her head no. “I don’t want to be Burdon” Ashley said looking out the window. “Uh yeah mam can you double the order please. Thank you” I said looking at Ashley as she tried to hide her smile. You know how people want to say yes, but don’t think they should. “Okay Sir your total is 10.98” I drove to the window went into my glove department and pulled out 15$. “Here you go mam keep the change.” I said as she handed me my receipt and told me to wait in the parking lot. I drove and parked my car in an empty space. “You didn’t have to do that Mystic if you didn’t want to” Ashley said. I looked at her and smiled. “Well good cause I wanted to, can’t let a girl starve plus my mom would never forgive me if she found out I let a pretty girl like you starve to death.” I said winking at her. Ashley turned her head and blushed. “Interesting, so you think I’m pretty Mystic?” Ashley said smirking at me. “Yes I really do, you’re breath taking.” I said smirking back. The lady from McDonald’s came to the car with the food and the drinks. “Thank you for ordering at McDonald’s, you nice young couple have a terrific day.” The old lady said smiling I smiled back and drove away. When I looked at Ashley she was looking thru the bag blushing. “The young girl at the cashier put her number in our bag” Ashley said handing me the number. “Her thirsty ass” I said with a frown as I threw her number out the window. “Why didn’t you keep the number?” Ashley asked when we reached the traffic light. “I’m into someone that’s more intelligent and beautiful” I said looking Ashley in her eyes. Yet again she blushed and turned her head. “Well she must be something” Ashley said with a devious look on her face. I turned left at the traffic light. “Yes she is did you know she sitting right next to me at this very moment” I said looking at Ashley smiling. She looked at me with a twinkle in her eyes and started laughing. “Glad you think so buddy boy” Ashley said. When I pulled into the park I turned off the ignition grabbed the food went to Ashley side of the car and opened her door for her. “Awe what a gentle men you are, that was cute but corny” Ashley said. I pressed the button on my key that locks the car. Ashley and I walked hand in hand to a park bench this park has always been deserted not that many people come here ever. “What made you bring us to this park?” Ashley asked. “I like the peace and quietness, no one ever comes here anymore they always go to the new one, I’m still surprised they aint shut this one down yet.” I said. Grabbing my big mac out the bag and handing Ashley’s hers. We ate in silence for a few minutes just enjoying each other’s company. When it got dark we went back to my car, I drove Ashley home, I stopped in front of her house and saw her parent’s car. “Hand me your phone so I can put my number in your contact” I said, Ashley handed me her phone, I handed her mine I programed my contact under ‘Babe’. I handed Ashley back her phone. “Since when did you become my babe Mystic?” Ashley asked me with a smile. “Since today, do you mind if I walk you to your front door” I asked with hope in my voice. “Sure I don’t see why not” Ashley said. I got out my car walked to her side and opened her door. Walked to her front door hand in hand and stopped. “You know Mystic I enjoyed today; it was nice being around you, you a fun person to be with.” Ashley said blushing looking down. “I had a great time myself, you want to hang out again tomorrow” I asked her. “Sure I will like that very much.” Ashley said. We were silent for a while. “Ashley do you mind if I kiss you?” I asked quietly. “I was hoping you would” after Ashley said that we both kind of leaned in towards each other and when we kissed it was like a flame was ignited , her lips was soft and the kiss was slow, gentle and passionate. When we withdrew from each other we both had smiles on our faces. “I’ll text or call you later Mystic goodnight.” Ashley said as she kissed my check and went into her house. I got into my car and drove away very happy. When I walked thru the door, dinner was just coming out of the oven. “How’s my baby boy? You had a good time today” my mom asked as I walked in the kitchen. “Hey ma what smells so good?” I asked trying to see what was in her hand. “It’s baked chicken, with cheese. Now go wash up for dinner and tell your dad the food is ready.” My ma said as she grabbed dishes from the dish rack. After dinner I walked into my room put my phone on the charger, then I walked into the bathroom striped off my clothes and got into the shower. While I was in the shower I started singing

As I got out the shower, I wrapped my towel around me, walked into to my room went over to my dresser, opened the draw grabbed my dark blue boxer briefs, put them on.
