Camila's POV

A knocking at the door to Lauren's place slowly awakens me. I'm lying on my side, facing the wall. I stare at the cream colored wall, that is dimly being lit by the lantern that must be turned on at a low setting, while I wake up a bit more. A whispered 'shit' in Laurens voice causes me to take a peak over my shoulder to see what's going on. Oh god, I was definitely not supposed to wake up and see this.

Lauren stands in the shadowy light in just a bra and underwear next to her dresser, which has a couple of its drawers pulled open, clearly in the middle of getting dressed. Wow. I've never seen a girl- hell I've never seen anyone-in this way before.

Before I can realize that I'm still stupidly staring at her exposed body, a maroon t-shirt being thrown onto Laurens torso cuts off my vision from her abs. The knocking comes again, along with a muffled shouting on the other side of the door. I catch Lauren's figure rushing towards the door, while also trying to pull a pair of black pants on, as I turn back to stare at the wall in shock. She was absolutely stunning. I mean, I know Lauren must work out to some extent since she trains, but this revelation is due to more than just her being in shape.

"Yeah, she's actually still asleep, so do me a favor and wake her up. I know from experience how much you love obnoxiously waking others up," said an approaching Lauren to her mystery companion.

As I continue to fake being asleep I'm growing a bit confused as to why nothing has happened. It's been like 10 seconds of pure silence, wasn't this mystery visitor just told to wake me u-

"WALZ!!!"

"Fucking hell Dinah! What is wrong with you?" I yell angrily as I cover my ears. She had snuck up and shouted that right into my ear.

"Aw man Lauser, I thought you said she was sleeping? That would have been way funnier if she was sleeping, right Mila? Like, remember that one time I woke you up just like that when we were kids? You were a mess of flailing limbs for a solid 5 seconds, until eventually you fell right off your bed and onto the floor," Dinah discloses as she laughs at the memory. I sit up on the futon, and grumpily pout at Dinah and her antics. Oh yes, I remember. I'm pretty sure my ass is still sore.

"Wait, how long have you been awake," Lauren asks as she now turns the lantern brightness up. I look from the laughing Dinah, to her direction to find a confused and slightly alarmed expression on her face. Oh crap! What do I do?

"Oh, uh your guys' talking as you came in woke me up," I lie.

"Oh nah uh, Walz. Unless you've gone through some drastic change since we were last together, you're just as bad at waking up as I am. You stay in bed at least a good 15 minutes after you wake up, and that's on a good day," Dinah challenges me. Dinah, you need to shut up right now!

"Guess I grew out of it," I tried to say as casually as possible, while shrugging my shoulders.

"Uh huh, suuuuuure," Dinah said sarcastically. Clearly Dinah doesn't believe me, but she isn't the one I'm concerned about believing me. She has no idea what was happening in here when she arrived, she's just concerned with winning this discussion with me. Lauren is the concern here, so I look back at her to check if her expression will reveal whether she believes me or not, but I'm met with her emerald green eyes already looking at me. Her expression is unreadable, but one thing's for certain, she's studying me. She looks like she's trying to figure something out, what that is, however, I have no idea. She doesn't look angry, creeped out, uncomfortable or anything like that though, so I think I'm good.
