So I don't know if it's a thing but after reading so many stories here on Wattpad, I have concluded that I want to be everybody's editor. Like voluntarily, for free, no payment needed.
Why?
1. Because so many stories are so good. I like their plot/concept and all but then while reading some of their words, my head explodes. Not literally but yeah... Their grammar and spellings and punctuation are hurting me that I stop reading them. From one shots to big time novels, I really wanna do some editing.
2. Because I think I'm a grammar nazi. No I don't rudely comment on a story because of their mistake but it hurts me so so so so much that I wanna help them. Like, hey I think you need some editing, let me help ya.
3. I suck at making good stories but I can work with editing an existing one :)
No I don't wanna offend you, I wanna help you. Literally. So yeah, pm me if you want. And I admit, I don't know if collaboration can work here and I don't know how I'm gonna be able to edit some of your stuff. Like how am I gonna edit your stuff. Tell me lol.
So yeah, I've always had that urge to straight up edit some of the parts. Approach me, if you will.
And here are some of the most common mistakes that I see:
-You're instead of Your
-Your instead of You're
-No space
-Wrong spelling
-Where the fuck is your apostrophe (')
