The white haired girl sits down and opens her journal, ready to write. She places her pencil on the paper and not knowing how to write very good, she draws scribbly images and says her ideas out loud. She draws the characters she had made up. She draws herself among them.
"And then they all had a wonderful time! Everybody got along.. Umm..."
She thinks of what to write next.
"I don't know what should happen... Umm... And then a strange man dressed in all black comes up and..."
The man in the story kills all of the characters in front of the fictional Marry's eyes.
"I'm starting over again."
In the story, Marry reverses time by a day. She writes about a boy who hasn't went out in over two years because of his only friend committing suicide. That friend only did that to protect her younger siblings. The boy has a girl who lives inside his computer. Because of her, he had damaged his keyboard, and was forced to go outside where he gets taken hostage in a terrorist attack.
"And this again."
Later on, he meets strange people that apparently have powers and somehow are friends with his sister. They call themselves the Mekakushi Dan. They all had a fun time, and she spent until morning drawing about their quirky adventures.
"I think I should start over again..."
She repeats the same thing. A strange man in black kills off her characters one by one leaving Marry the only one standing. Again, Marry repeats the time line.
Marry puts down her pencil and yawns.
"It's already morning?"
She walks over to the window of the house she's in. She lives there alone, and has been doing that for the past hundred years. Outside, she is completely surrounded by the forest. She walks back to the journal she was drawing in and strokes the cover.
"Seto, Kido, Momo, Kano, Ene, Konoha, Shintaro, Hibiya..."
She yawns again..
"I have to sleep.. I'll see you guys again when I wake up.. Goodnight...."
While falling asleep, she quietly says to herself, because there's nobody else for miles...
"Something like that would never happen in real life..."
