* Katana's pov *

I felt alone. The worst torture for me is being alone. With no one I can look to for help . Now THAT'S torture. Abandoned is what I am. But not for long. I WILL find my family. I WILL find my true love. I vowed this with my heart. Now you have to understand, I'm different. Well, actually, scratch that. I'm just a tad bit different. Just like my brothers, I'm a hybrid. A Phoenix Queen hybrid. One of the last to walk the earth. RockBender cracks and crumbles the earth wherever he walks, that is , if he's purposely doing that. WindBreaker glides through the air like it's nothing. Me, I set fire to everywhere my feet touch. We are Soul Phoenix hybrids, and we will fight and strive for the day that hybrids and magicks users/mortals can live as one. I just hope Phoenix Drop is a promising village.

*le time skip!*

I walk up to the gates of Pheonix Drop to see the person I've been searching for ever since the day we escaped that place in Arcaida. Those wretched labs. " hello?! Is anyone there?!" I ask in my shy voice. RockBender gasps. " HopeFire! Laurence ! Open the gate quick!" He shouts down to a brunette. He opens the gate quickly. RockBender hugs me tightly. " HopeFire, I was worried sick! Where have you been?!" He asks me. I can tell he is too happy that I'm alright. " I was looking for you! I missed you though little bro! Hey that rhymes! " I say giggling like I always do. " ok? What's going on here?" The brunette asks , obviously confused, " and by the way, name's Laurence!" He winks at me. Ugh, why must I have black budder for hair?!?!?! " my name's HopeFire, I'm assuming you've already met RockBender here. " I say. He looks at me confused. Rock just chuckles a little. " Laurence, I forgot to mention that my real name's RockBender Sentigouge Ro'meave. I'm second oldest in the family as a whole , counting HopeFire. That's why I'm called the oldest son of Ok'hasis, but in truth I'm just second oldest, by one second , that is. " Rock says , obviously annoyed about it. " oh just get over it ok?! I'm still your best sis in the world ! Right ?! " I say , hugging him. He nods . " well , I think I need to stay in place In your village, since I burned down my old place. And guess what?! The beds some how didn't fall and kept floating there in the same place!!!! It was priceless!!!! " I say trying to lighten the mood. Rock laughs . He has always had a sense of humor. Weird humor. Like me , who actually has the bad trait of enjoying when Fanta gets hurt for some weird reason.( I actually do have this trait. I'm not proud of it. Or my terribly dirty mind.)

*Laurence's P.O.V.*

HopeFire is so beautiful. Like a REAL angel. She's filled with determination, pride, and hope. She's a warrior, like Aphmau. Noble and strong is not enough to describe her . I cast a pleading glance at Garroth, or RockBender. I will keep calling him Garroth for the reason is that that's what I know him by. HopeFire is just chatting away , and Garroth nods . I want to show HopeFire around the village, and get to know her for , well , her! " H-hey! HopeFire? W-wanna t-tour of the v-village?" I ask , stuttering. ' since when do I stutter?!' I think to myself. She nods. " s-sure! Come on! " she says excitedly. She grabs my hand and drags me, like LITERALLY drags me out the door. I feel heat rising to my cheeks as she lets go at the first house. " hey? You alright Laurence? You blushing really badly! Wait don't tell me that you have a crush on me?!" She says , and on cue , starts blushing like a maniac. I swallow a little. She hugs me as I start to sweat badly. Why?! She comforts me like she is in the same boat. I sigh contently. We were sitting outside the old guard tower just chatting a little here and there, but we were mostly just enjoying the sun. HopeFire says to call her Fury, so I do. " hey Fury, have you ever loved someone some much you just want to stay by their side forever?" I ask her. " no. I've never even felt any other love except from my little brothers.  Until now..." she mumbles the last part under her breath, thinking I couldn't hear it, but I did. I knew what she meant . I didn't know how to confess that I loved her a LOT. Not just like 'I have a crush' way, but in the ' I can't stop thinking about you' kind of way. And I CAN'T stop thinking about her. I start thinking about how to confess when an idea pops into my head. Why not just kiss her ?! She looks at me and giggles. I realized that she ruffled my hair when I was thinking about her . She snuggles into me and sits on my lap as fireworks go off at the docks. I look down at her to see that she's staring at me. My arms wrap around her and pull her close. she blushes badly. " l-l-Laurence w-w-w-what  a-a-are y-y-you d-d-d-d-doing?!" She says blushing even harder as I lean in . I just close the gap in between us as her eyes widen . She almost immediately kisses back. My heart skips a beat. She likes ME! What ?! This is something that I wouldn't even expect! I don't want it to end but as the Fates would have it, Garroth just HAS to ruin the moment. He grunts when Fury glares daggers at him. He just leaves us be after that. She just smiles softly. " now where were we?" She asks me , with a goofy grin on her face. " oh , just up in the sky high! " I joke, earning a giggle from her. I kiss her softly. She just kisses back. It's like it comes naturally to us to kiss each other . A sharp pain runs through me, as if I was just shocked by lightning. She smiled softly. " I love you too LaurLaur. Your my light in my darkness of a creature that I am. I've never been high with someone that loves me like you do. All those other men that hit on me were just plain stupid and never gave up any time to come and see me when they were off duty. I'm just a true monster compared to you, yet you treat me like an equal. I'm a hybrid, one that no one I know like, yet you still love me for who I am. This is what I love about you . You're so kind to me , and your like a little knight who's lost his lover, but you're in love with me. I'm just going to say that if you want me, you can have me because I don't care what Rock thinks about us . " Fury says. I look at her shocked. She really doesn't care that I'm a shadow knight. I nod . " I would love you till the end Fury . No matter what. Forever Lovers. " I say , leaning my head against her's. She giggles softly. Aphmau squeals loudly. We look over to see her fangirling. I chuckle while Fury just kisses my cheek. I just look at her like ' really . I want a better kiss!' She just kisses me softly.
