The room fell silent as the group stared at the two men looking at each other, they were possibly thinking of the worse case scenario.

Breaking the silence, Kirito spoke.

“Well Kishi-kun,” he said as he reached for the guy’s extended hand, “Let’s talk.”

They shook their hands and gave each other a smile, a smile that represented peace between the two.

“So,” Kirito started as he stood up with Sinon, “What do you want to talk about?”

“Actually, I was wondering if we could talk in private,” he replied.

“I mean I don’t mind talking with you in private but may I ask why?” he asked with a chuckle.

“Well, it’s very personal business between you and me, and no it doesn’t include hatred or violence or anything, I just want to talk with you to give you my thanks for saving and taking care of Asuna. You do not know how cold her parents were to me when I was looking for her.”

“Oh tell me about it, I haven’t even met with her mom because she hates me!”

The two laughed ecstatically, the others were soon joining in, except for Asuna who was growing red, really red.

Kirito continued, “And did her brother do that to you too?”

“Oh my god you bro you don’t even know he was like-“

“Alright guys well let’s go out and leave these two dogs to talk already!” Asuna exclaimed.
She took everyone’s, except Sinon’s, hands and pulled them out of the room, slamming the door close. A few moment later the door flew open and came in a tomato-faced Asuna. She went behind Sinon and started pushing her out of the door.

“Gah!” she yelped.

“See ya Shino,” Kirito said as the door slammed shut again.

“So... what’s up?” Kirito started.

“Well first of all, I just want to say thank you so much for keeping her company in that death game, and second I want to say sorry for kind of stealing you from her,” Jin grew nervous to the las statement, he was actually pretty scared of Kirito because unknowingly to the others, he was bad at fights and knowing that Kirito was the savior of SAO made him more nervous when talking to him. He didn’t care if it was in game or not, the guy had instincts. Not only that but he also found out that he used to do kendo, so he’d be damned if the two fought.

Kirito noticed Jin’s nervousness more and more, to be honest, he was enjoying the look on his face. But not because he feels more powerful, it’s because he sees the sensitive side of him in him.‘ He probably thinks I hate him huh,’ He thought.

“Yo Knight-kun, you do know that I don’t hate you right?”

Jin’s head shot up hearing the pet name that he gave him. When Kirito had a good look on him, he could tell he was flustered, he smirked at the boy in front of him.

“D-did Asuna tell you to call me that?!” He asked embarrassedly.

“No, why would she anyway… Wait, she actually calls you that?” Kirito asked surprised, “I thought I could’ve started it to tease you.”

“She’s been calling me that since we were kids, but please call me Jin or Kishi, a guy calling me Knight-kun just sounds weird y’know.”

“... No,” Kirito said bluntly, “ and I mean Knight-kun is like such a badass pet name so I’ll keep saying it whether you like it or not.”
