Hello Dear,
Good morning! Today's my birthday, as you might already be aware. I'm wearing that beautiful dress mother bought me. I'm so very excited to be turning 14. Will you be attending my celebration? I wish you would. Mothers having the maid make my favorite cake and then we're having a special dinner with a few friends; including the neighbor boy. His name is Andrew. Andrew Wellingsworth. Funny, I always thought that when someones name ends with "worth" that they would be all snobby and stuck up. Oh! Do you remember my favorite cake? I really hope that there will be lemon tarts at the party. I will wear that ruby red necklace you gave me. I have so many things that remind me of you. Although today is a happy occasion, I can't help but feel empty inside. It's the same feeling I felt when father told me I was leaving home for a few days. Like my heart has been ripped out of my chest and that it's just a empty hole. Ha ha. Funny is it not? That father said I'd be away for only a few days but instead it was about three months. I didn't want to think of him a liar, but he is one. I wonder why would he lie to me. Him and mother. Mother went along with his lie making me think I'd come home within a few days! I'm done with his fibs, and mothers too! I don't want this-this sham of a party! Father has never made such a fuss of previous birthday celebrations. He's probably doing this to keep my mouth shut. To hide his hospitalized daughter. Dear, please tell me. Am i really insane? To keep writing to you like this? Its hilarious isn't it? The people you love and trust abandon you with your darkness. That's what you felt like, right? what i don't understand it, why are you doing it to me as well? Why have you not returned? Have you found another girl to toy with? Who's that harlot? Sending you these letters seem like a waste of time with you, if you aren't even going to come back to me. HAH! What does that whore, that adult-er know of our love? For heavens-sake! I'm going to get ready for my party now. Goodbye.
